Ozito Blower Choice 18V Kit - 3 choices

what is the main difference of two ozito blowers below where one is doubled the price of the other.

I can only see the $189 blower has 4.0ah battery ($99 2.0ah), is a spit tube design and variable speed.

It's for over 70s lady and prefer lighter model, so I won't expect the 18v x 2 one.

$189

$99

The No Load Speed12,000/min, Air Speed210km/h and Max. air volume105m³/h are all the same.

Is below $159 a better choice? As above two are weaker?

As this has:

Better: No Load Speed 13,000 - 18,000/min
Better: Air Volume670m³/h (394 CFM) - six times of above ones
A bit lower (5%) Max. Air Speed200km/h Max.

And also this is a Brushless blower , hence is lighter with better specs even with 4.0ah battery?

$159

I believe the first two you linked are poorly regarded.
    Don’t know about the third.

I have the old version of the 18v x2, and it out performs my old 2-stroke petrol MAkita blower.
    Nearest seems to be this:

I have this one. It's good as my petrol Stihl blower.
I had the cheaper single battery (non-brushless) version for about 20 mins and returned it. Not powerful enough.

I have the 18v x 2 it's next level. You realty need two batteries as one has short run time and discharges pretty aggressively which isn't good for long term health. $150 skin plus $100 when the two batteries are on a deal.

This one is pretty awesome. Scored one back in 2020 for 30 bucks.

      This is the best one

    • is it very heavy on 18v x 2 for old lady?

There is only one choice: the 36V one!

And it isnt that crappy combination blower/mulcher/vacuum one either… This is the one that OP should get…

      • I've got the K.I.S.S one that does just on thing, and it does it well. The ones with the little wheels and bags and suck and blow, just seem to be complicating things.

      • Agree.. i have it, and it is better than the Ryobi 36v and the 18v AEG.

      • is it very heavy on 18v x 2 for old lady?

        • Nope, just use the 2.5AH's. Might need more of them, but when I'm 70 and doing the gardening, I'd probably enjoy the short run time.

          • @imnotgoingtopayrrp: All comes down to how much run time is needed. A 2ah on my Ryobi is enough to blow the grass off the drive and path after mowing but it does only run for about 10min so I use a higher battery for stuff like giving the back deck a decent going over.

One has a variable speed 1 to 6, the other doesn't (one speed). I have the variable one and it is pretty good for doing things around the yard.

  • The EGO one is pretty good.

  • I've got the 2nd one you linked This one and it's good for just getting rid of the grass clippings from the pavement once I finish mowing the lawn. It's not overly powerful, I wouldn't be moving mountains of leaves with it.

    Yep go the 36v one

The single battery ozito one i had ended up in hard rubbish. It was useless

  • I have the $99 one, had it for a few years now its lasted well. It is not as powerful as a corded one but is ample for doing the patio and a bit out in the yard. You will need to buy a 2nd batter and they can be hard to get sometimes. For the price it is I do recommend it.

  • 2 X 18V is punchy enough to blow gum leaves and fallen twigs and sticks from above off a flat roof shed/garage. Turbo mode will shift the sticks, but it's easier to kick them along and save battery power..

While I tend to agree that bigger is better, it depends on what you want to blow. Cleaning up a deck covered in leaves daily, you’ll want a powerful one. Blowing grass clippings off the path and driveway after you mow once a week? 18v will be fine and there’s little point getting a 36v

I’ve got an 18v Ryobi. Not brilliant, but does the job for me. Having a bigger capacity battery does increase the power a little bit a small battery is perfect for blowing clippings off the driveway.
