Small Hamburger Meal + Your Choice of a Hamburger or Chicken McBites $5.95 (10:30am-4pm Daily) @ McDonald’s

521

McDonald’s are launching a brand new loose change meal for four weeks from the 28th June, between 10:30am-4pm daily. With this new deal, you’ll receive a small hamburger meal, as well as an additional side item (either 10 Chicken McBites or another hamburger) for $5.95.

As with the last deal it is not an app exclusive, meaning it can be ordered using all ordering platforms (excluding McDelivery). However, due to some unsuccessful ordering attempts last time, I recommend using either the app or kiosks in store to order.

Hope you guys enjoy, and any questions please let me know :)

This is no deal. Maybe with a cheeseburger it would be ok. And a new loose change menu but only for 4 weeks?

    • Have you seen the price of cheese lately?

      • +3

always seems to be an excuse for these places. first it was lettuce, then potato, now cheese

      • +2

USA has been stashing 1.4 billion pounds of cheese in caves. Whoever controls the cheese controls the universe.

        • +1

I heard they moved BTC cold storage customers to the surface so they could store cheese.

    • +6

$6 is now considered "loose change" :(

      • +6

Pretty funny. Remember when it started as $1 and $2 about ten years ago?

        • Then they slowly added $3 and $4 "deals" to the change menu, now we're at 6, 8 and 10 are coming I guess

      • Yeah, I remember when HJ Stunner Meals were $5. Now $8.95 for a small meal, single-cheeseburger.

        They've added 3 nuggets, and $4, in 15 years.

  • +2

@jdeals1, do you know if they will let you add cheese to the Hamburgers? And if so, how much extra that would cost?

    • Unfortunately you can’t add it to the meal, however you could purchase a slice of cheese on its own and add it to the burger

      • For $2.50.

        • +2

Buy burger cheese from a supermarket and take a slice or 2 in with you, that's what I'm gonna do with a $2 hamburger.

After about 2 weeks I wasn't able to order mcfeast from drive thru anymore, and only 1 per order from app. Hope this isn't the same. Decent deal considering Macca's prices but not as good as the last. Bigger order window tho

Edit: as per above commenter realised it's hamburgermeal + hamburger, not cheeseburger meal+hamburger. Average. They're only $2 on their own anyway.

I’d rather the mcfeast desl for the same price. The only time I buy Maccas is when there’s a special on the app, there’s no way I’m paying full price these days.

    • +2

      I’d rather the mcfeast desl

      desl?

    • McFeast way better than this.

Also, a cheeseburger is way better than a hamburger.

    • and only if it's a good deal

  • +6

Crap deal - the current McFeast one is way better.

  • yeah hamburgers are so tiny. and you don't get much in them.

    • I can literally eat one of them in two bites.

Doesn't surprise me when the beef pattie weighs about 35g…..

  • Loose change???

  • +3

$6 is considered loose change now? FML

    • -1

      Considering inflation. Yes!

  • Is this going to replace the McFeast meal

  • +1

Who even eats 'hamburgers'? Seriously, what's the point?
Make it a cheeseburgers and you're off… but trying to sell hamburgers just seems weird.

    • +4

I buy them if I want an additional small item. They are $2 and a cheeseburger is like $4.50. No way I'm paying more than double for a single slice of plastic cheese.

      • I get that, it's good for a small item extra… but trying to base a meal on a hamburger just seems out of place. Granted, cheese is a delicacy these days!

  • +3

Not sure how this mediocre deal is getting upvoted.

    • +1

The boffins like a change from their daily $6 Dominos pizza.

      • +1

At least the $6 pizza comes with cheese.

  • Mid

  • +1

Didn't realise how much extra a cheeseburger was compared to the hamburger, geez the cheese is also never melted these days, got burger cheese in the fridge should order a $2 burger then in front of the staff member open it and add the cheese myself.

  • Will they be getting rid of the McFeast meal once this is out?

    • The 5.95 mcfeast deal expires on the 27th so basically yes, but it will probably still be avail at the regular price.

  • +3

    No deal. This is pathetic.

    • +1

i'd rather eat a raw onion

  • Can any McD's experts comment on whether McBites or additional hamburger is the better choice, for value but also for quantity of food? I can't remember the last time I had McBites tbh.

    • +1

Not an expert I live in the bush, maccas is a treat for me. …(when done right)
      Hambuger 1050 kJ
      10 mcbites 725 kJ

  • You need an app code for these?

Went to McD, and the dude is adamant it all needs a code

    • Literally says "starts in 4 days"

  • I have a voucher code for 18 McNuggets and 2 large fries for $8 total if anyone wants it.

  • I prefer mcfeasts which is better value than two hamburgers but for a quick bite, this isn't too bad when KFC don't have a full up box deal going.

  • using the app, if you choose extra hamburger it adds 5 x hamburgers then will block you from ordering it, so have to pick the mcchicken bites

    • -1

Place the order in front of a staff member show them and try to get them to honour it, then this really would be a deal.

  • Tried to use yesterday, got error, not available at local McD

  • -4

No deal. You can score $1 hamburgers via deals in the app occasionally.

  • I ordered this through the app yesterday and got 2 hamburgers and 2 small fries.

I'm not sure if they gave me someone else's order or they added bonus because the mcbites weren't available?

  • Kfc take my money

  • just about whats its worth ..
