    • Thanks Tachicuddles, will add it to the description.

    Warrenty 6 years.

Thanks OP… Bought one for the future PC!

    • +2

Wish I could go back in time to buy one for the future pc.

Good price. One of the best coolers reviewed by Steve / Gamer's Nexus, "Best Noise-normalized thermals"

  • I there any considerable difference in this vs the deepcool ak620? I heard with time these coolers can leak liquid or the liquid could evaporate. Any views?

    • +3

You would have to have a really bad dud or have mangled the fittings in order for it to properly leak.

As for the loop losing liquid, tiny amounts of liquid will permeate through the tubing because it's plastic. The rate however, is measured in something like tiny fractions of a millilitre per year, and the tubing used in these things are typically chosen to minimise the amount lost. Some AIO loops are even refillable.

Hell, even the service kit for this model even had extra coolant in it. (They briefly had a period where they had been shipping plastic gaskets in the copper plate that would break down over time)

Air coolers have the advantage in that they are much simpler to install and since the only moving part is the fan, they are much easier to fix. Fan fails - replace fan. Problem solved.

But when an AIO fails, you can't replace the pump, you just discard the whole thing. Leaks generally are very uncommon in AIO coolers. Liquid permeation through tubing can happen but as previous comment said, the process is very slow and miniscule and it's easily remedied by simply adding more fluid into the cooler.

The advantages of an AIO is they typically have more surface area and more thermal mass. It takes a lot longer for your CPU to completely heat-soak the liquid (so you'll see lower temps for a longer period of time). And it's also the only way to get better cooling if you are constrained by the space of a small Mini ITX case.

After an AIO cost me a cpu, as I misdiagnosed the failed pump for a dead CPU…I went out and bought a D15 and never looked back.

    • Air cooler are quieter compare aio but soo brings a bit better performance

    • The others have commented on the reliability but to address

any considerable difference in this vs the deepcool ak620?

It depends on which CPU you're trying to cool. For anything below the 13600K I don't think you will notice much of a difference except while benchmarking or stress-testing. Even with something like the 13600K or the 13700K you will be fine with the ak620 if your heaviest workload is videogames.

Solid cooler and great price. Can't hear it in my pc - used for my 5900x which is left on 24/7. Must say, the hybrid cooling is nice.

    • you've sold me my coolermaster sounds like a c130 about to take flight

  • As long as it fits, this'll do pretty much anything I'd say

  • What case to fit a 420mm rad though

  • Still running a skylake CPU but considering an upgrade in the next year or so. Would this be good to buy now? Is it future proof?

edit: Bummer looks like my case can only do 360mm

  • This is a great cooler range.

Artic are a great company, they had a recent issue and sent out kits to everyone. Highly recommended.

  • Great deal but I think it's worth mentioning that there are so few cases that fit the 420mm radiator, even those that advertise as such because the radiator on the LF II is thicker than most other radiators on the market.

  • anyone know if itll fit a gt501 case? read somewhere only in the front

  • +1

Incase someone was wondering what case this 420mm rad will fit, I know for sure that the Corsair 7000d will fit on top (https://www.umart.com.au/product/corsair-7000d-airflow-tempe…) but it's such a very very heavy case.

Not sure what other cases there is that supports a 420mm rad but please do your research. It'll be mostly only full tower cases for sure (but even then some of them can only fit up to 360mm rads)

    • +1

Yeah I believe Lian Li O11D XL (I guess the new Evo XL coming out?), Fractal Meshify 2 XL are some examples that will fit

Before I bought a 360mm AIO I looked into getting a 420mm one but you are so limited in your case options sadly, and the cases tend to be a bit more on the pricey side too

  • have the 360 version and its way cooler than my corsair 280 aio under load while barely hearing it

    • +1

Hopefully a deal pops up on the 360 version

  • +3

bought! now i just need a new case, cpu, mobo, gpu, ram, psu…

    • Don't forget storage, plenty of deals popping off for SSDs in the last few months.

  • Thank you purchased one for future build

  • +1

Make sure your case can fit it, these things are big. I'm talking about ram clearance.

    • I’ll be up for a new case current one I don’t like, there is a list for compatible cases for this cooler.

  • +1

What are the chances of buying a cpu cooler and 10 minutes later this deal comes up

  • Does it work with ryzen 5 5600?

    • +1

      Yes

    • +1

Its a tad overkill for it.

    • Bought last night but then got a email today saying OOS and will refund me the full price. Smh.

  • Grabbed 2 thanks

  • 240 and 420 links aren't working on my end :(
Edit: 420 link worked for me again, but no option to buy. Only "call us for price". Both are not working for me again, RIP. Good post OP very popular!

  • Links not working for me either

  • Bought about 5 minutes ago, link worked then, no longer does.
    Hopefully not a price error.

    • Lucky I came back and read your message maybe a pricing error lucky I was about to pull the trigger on a new expensive case lucky, I’ll wait and see edit link working but I’ll wait to get it delivered before a new case

      • I'm in the same boat. Trying to decide between 7000D or O-11

  • The link is working again now…

  • Link works, just got one. Now have to get the rest…

  • Link is dead :(

  • had the paypal checkout from hours ago. just processed it and went through will probably get a cancel but worth a shot

  • They don't accept zip. Kinda strange for a online computer shop. Most have it but this one nope 😮

  • I love this cooler. I have it in a meshify 2 case which just berely fits it across the top.

  • The 240 mm CPU cooler works on Intel lga1700 right??
Said amd on the title but lga1700 too in the photos.

  • +1

    Order cancellled

    • +1
      "No stock" LoL.

  • +2

Order canceled, call BS on no stock, was one of the first to respond to this deal… I don’t understand why if it’s a price error and they don’t want to honour it just say so…

    • yep just got the email too, alas too good to be true (or honoured at least)

    • Damn sorry to hear that, I got mine delivered this morning

  • +1

Well, atleast I don't have to buy a new case. LOL. Let's hope a good deal pops up on the 360 version

  • +2

Wow that was quick, got mine delivered this morning.

    • Lucky haha

    • At least you got one OP. Thanks for posting!

  • Yep no stock ohhh well

  • just got my tracking via HT support anyone elses ship in 3 different parcels?

    • +1

I got mine delivered the next morning, I think alot of people had their ordered cancelled as well, so if you got tracking number its still a good sign

      • who knows what there sending me i checked out about an hour after the deal was finished, i had a paypal payment window open and went through with it haha

  • No cancellation msg or shipping notice for me 😞

  • shit company to deal with sent me the tracking number for someone else order. I went out and bought the rest of the pc parts for my build thinking the tracking was mine. got delivered this morning 200 kilometers away from me sent another support message and was told it was out of stock and they'll refund it. they wouldn't even downgrade me to the 360mm cooler after id said id spent 100s on other corresponding parts for my build.

  • also there stock numbers are all over the place when i asked about the 360mm cooler they said theres 2 in stock but the webpage says 10 or more in stock.
