      Very big difference between something that will last many, many years and something that's basically pointless and probably won't outlast a towel.

        It's not pointless, I had to dry my dog using 3 or more towels every day. So that's 3 towels I'm using every day plus like 10 minutes drying the dog and putting my back out. Buy one of these and chuck it on the dog in 30 seconds and she dries herself. It's not pointless just because YOU can't see value in it.
