Continuing the recent trend of Amazon Gundam deals, noticed the Bandai Hobby Kit Gundam Mg 1/100 Zaku High Mobility Type "Psycho Zaku" Ver.Ka [Gundam Thunderbolt) on sale. A massive but rewarding kit to build so keep that in mind. Seems to be on sale for around $175 or out of stock at most other stores so a good deal. Will probably be like the FM 1/100 Aerial deal so get in quick if you want it at this price.

  I'm new to building gunpla (started with an OzB deal) and am enjoying it immensely, but I don't know if I'd jump into something this big yet. Other Australian retailers seem to have it for around $174.99, so it's a fair deal

    You'll need a lot of shelf space for him that is for sure. Build was pretty fun and not that all difficult. And $131 is a very good price even compared when he first came out. I remembered picking this kit up for $100 plus shipping with a few other kits from HLJ prior to the pandemic.

      How are the joint covers? I bought the full armour a while ago but I'm kinda nervous about them.

      Appreciate your feedback. It's very tempting, but I think I'll keep building smaller ones until I know I'm interested enough in this hobby to warrant myself purchasing such a big kit.

      Are there any particular RG or HG kits that you would consider especially fun? I might keep an eye out for some. Thanks in advance :)

        i would probably agree that going to this straight from HG are a bit much. Try a normal MG first then go from there. Ver Ka kits can be fiddly.

        The newer ones to be honest are a more enjoyable experience. Less fidley with nub removal, better colours, better articulation. Other than that, just get something that you like the look of.

        That said, recent awesome kits I've made were the hg aeriel and the rg nu Gundam and the rg sazabi is also on my todo list. The rgs are great if you haven't experienced them yet incidentally.

          @Ezuku: Cheers maulmonk and ezuku for your kind insight - I've had my eyes on the MG Barbatos after seeing a deal for it a couple days ago that I sadly missed out on. That one looks amazing!

      The RG Unicorn goes from normal to Destroy mode. Watch out for the fragile shoulder.
