are they ever going to bring back the upsize? These bins are too small for my house

Has anybody compared the V15 to the 500 range upper end chinese vacuums? If yes, how do they fare?
Are these really as powerful as the corded floor vacuums as they try to suggest in the ads?
Is your house tile or carpet? if it's tile a cheap vacuum will do the trick as theres no resistance to picking up dirt. its only when you have thick carpet where the dirt is stuck in that you need something really powerful. there's no comparison for constant strength of a corded one but it's convenient to have a stick vac

I have a V5 right now, it's fine. But eg trying to clean the car doesn't work much (or at all)
I've found it to be pretty good on carpet… but we have very short hard carpet in our rental apartment, but 99% of the time it gets kids crap (sand, dirt, food crumbs) with ease. The other 1% I have to use either the no vac spray (because it's discoloured and needs the germs killed) or the Dr Beckmann carpet cleaning spray/brush first.
We also have a V6 and it's incomparable as to how much more effective the V15 is at picking up stuff. I also love the anti hair tangle feature so you don't have to remove hairs from the motorised brush head. The less useful feature is the green laser head since on carpet it shows nothing.
Great deal. Just bought one for my parents. They loved the V6 but it didn't have enough suction power or battery life to replace their big old corded upright vacuum. This will do the trick! (I've got a V15 as well)
I still don't get the naming conventions though as to whether this V15 Detect Complete is better or worse (and how much so) than the V15 Detect Absolute other than it costs $50 more before discounts on Dyson's official eBay store. I'm sure the accessories like ours will never see the light of day beyond initial unboxing especially since the stand only holds one.
