I dont rate these very well. Im not sure if its just the tips dont fitmy ears well or if the noise cancelling is just underwhelming.
Try aftermarket eartips. All 3 stock sizes that came with the buds fit terribly for me, but picked up some cheap foam earbuds off eBay specifically for these Buds 2 Pro and the fit is so much better.

Last time I tried foam tips for random buds I found the fit really awkward and found the silicone more comfortable.
Though on these semi in ears i do feel like they lose their seal a lot.

It's very much a case of YMMV, everyone has different ears and will have different experiences to others.

There are so many on ebay but 99.9% of the cheap memory foam tips I've seen are not compatible with buds2 pro as stems are shorter on the 2s. I don't wanna fork out $50 tobtry Comply and reading your post above neither did you.

Buds 2 (non-pro) are so much better IMO
better fit = better ANC and sound quality
I did that 2 times with a cheaper pair Soundpeats and they still works as normal. You may not really need a new one

I got a nasty ear infection from these. Completely blocked both of my ears up. Apparently it's the silicone they used with this particular model, if you google it you'll see there's a lot of people with the same issue.
Please be careful.
I tried the Galaxy Buds Pro and Buds2 and both gave me crusty ears, even when using 3rd party ear tips.
I did not have any issue when using the original Galaxy Buds, nor with Jabra nor Sony models.
I reckon its something in the plastic.
I reckon you're right. I don't have any allergies that I know of. I didn't have the issue with the original buds, and I don't have them with the Sony ones I use now.
