I don't think this price is great (it's fine) but man this is one of my favourite things I own. Had one for about 9 months and happy to answer any questions.

One of the easiest drone you will fly
I couldn't imagine a drone being simpler. Particularly with the firmware updates that have happened in the time I've owned it. YouTube is your friend and the content count is high. The same top people release updates and demos and they make it so simple.
I was shocked the first time I flew the level of drone anxiety I had and I still have those moments but I'd start with a blank canvas. Out of town. Huge empty fields with no obstacles in sight until you get the feel for it. I took it overseas December/January and it was about the best accessory I've gotten in years.
You'd want to have the time to play in your backyard (I suggest not taking it up there just feeling comfortable with take off, landing, basic camera control etc a metre off the ground before you venture out. If you put that time - it will pay off on game day.
The top YouTube peeps make it so easy, right down to specific settings that provide best possible control in all modes.
How far out of town do you have to go to find open areas to fly? I just bought a mini 3 pro too, would like to fly it further than 5m in each direction in the backyard…
I am glad you thought it was fun taking it overseas, I am tossing up whether it's worth registering to fly in Europe on my next trip.

If you didn't know, they are using your drone to drop grenades and other bombs on each other.
I support regulation but I think they could go to far on a 249 gram drone - I see sensible laws coming into play as recreational and commercial drone usage increases. Looking forward to when this is our norm…
If a 249g drone can lift a grenade then watch out for all the butterflies carrying AK47s
Looks like it's the Mavic Version they're using. So hopefully Mini's won't be considered the same potential danger by reactionary authorities

This is an ok price, but you can definitely find better deals.
I recently purchased the DJI MIni 3 pro with RC + Fly More Kit from JB Hi-Fi for $1039 (after 10% off Ultimate Gift cards + 7% from Coles Mastercard Gift card). I just asked in live chat for the best deal they could provide. I also picked up the DJI care refresh from Amazon for $189 (2yrs), so still works out cheaper if you take advantage of gift cards and stack with JB Hi-Fi sales/offers/deals.

When you asked JB, did you ask them to do a bundle offer with the Fly More Kit? Last week, the DJI Mini 3 Pro RC was already on sale for $1143, and I just asked them for the best deal if I purchased with the Fly More Kit with it. The first time I asked they offered $1341, but the next day I had a chat with someone else and they offered $1248 for both items. YMMV, but worth asking what the best deal is in live chat with both items. Then pay with discounted gift cards from Coles (Ultimate Gift Cards currently 10% off).
Note you will need to convert the ultimate gift cards into one JB gift card in store to be able to pay online. Also just an FYI, the Coles Mastercard deal has already expired, but is one of the reasons I was able to save an extra 7%.

You can just buy a digital code from DJI Directly for the same price, but I saved a little bit with some discount amazon gift cards from the Prezzee deals.

Air 3 is more than 249g. Applicable restrictions apply.
The 'intelligent flight battery plus' puts the mini 3 pro over 249g. Mini 3 pro will get even cheaper once the Air 3 is out and available.
That said, this is a good deal right now and I'm yet to see cops weighing drones with scales.

Yes, this is just the RRP, but you get the free Flight Battery Plus (worth $149), and 1yr DJI care refresh (worth $99). This was actually $1189 last week where they had a sale, so not the best price/deal. I would just wait if you are not in a rush.
