Adidas - Order still in "In progress" over 3 weeks

No change in status since I placed my order.
Unfortunately, the item is sold out now.
They never get connected though phone at 02-7256 9046, just their stupid music continue…..
Is there any order escalation channel for them?

  • This has happened to me before! Unfortunately, the only way to escalate is to call them up and have your order details on hand.

    Took about 2 months to get my money back… and whoever got my sports bras and leggings… lucky them <_<

    Can sympathise with you. I've had similar issue on occasion with Adidas. Had to chase and chase for a refund on returned goods also.
    Problem is, the warehouse and logistics side has been outsourced (from what I remember to Auspost I believe).
    Best to raise a claim after 7 days with your Credit Card provider for a claw back refund if Adidas has not processed it prior.
    I buy… how do i say… a reasonable about from the site and maybe 1 in every 12 or so orders is a stuff up in some capacity unfortunately…
    Online messenger is about the best way to get hold of them. Keep in mind, take a screen shot of the chat before you exit and the site doesn't sent a script to you following… This way you have a record for yourself and your bank to support the claw back. :)

  • They took 1.5 weeks after a big sale for them to just refund me and say tough luck out of stock with no option of back order ! But hey my Cashback tracked and I got paid it lol

  • I ordered 3 pairs of different sizes and got 2 of the same size and one another size. i haven’t called them or been bothered .

  • Going through the same process myself, the order has been in progress since 14/6.

    There has been no resolution by contacting them via Messenger so just planning on cancelling the order or instigating a chargeback.

  • Wow, I can't believe how bad Adidas customer service is.

    Still on the merry-go-round with them for a refund for an order placed almost two months ago despite an assurance that they were processing the refund weeks ago.

    They have however managed to send me multiple Customer Feedback surveys to complete.

  • Looks at heaps negative feedback on Facebook around refund, incorrect order etc!

    I'm in same boat. Been chasing refund for item returned on 27 Jun but cant seem to get hold of them via phone! Chat on app has been down for weeks,

      @Jaitch also: Took 5 weeks for a refund since a return was tracked back to head office. And this involved >2 Facebook chat sessions. Be polite but firm - their policy states refunds are processed within 28 days and there was no sign of this nor any updates up to the 28th day. Good luck.

    Finally received notification that my refund had been processed, just over 2 months since Adidas cancelled the order due to a lack of stock.

    They need to up their Customer Service game, the level of communication and service is simply atrocious.

    Not sure if they can do anything about it but sent a complaint to the ACCC just for good measure, hopefully Adidas may listen to them because they certainly don't listen to their customers.
