Temu - The Good (Not The Bad, nor The Ugly)

By now most of us have seen a few deals and forum posts relating to the store Temu.

Now, I'm not posting here to discuss the value/s and/or practices of the site or it's competitors - what I am posting for is for you who have partaken in the stores products and commented here and there about finding some good product/s - can you please link and discuss said products with the rest of us!

@Mods - I thought "Find Me A Bargain" was the most appropriate place for this post, but please relocate as appropriate :) (which probably would have happened irrespective of this comment here…)

Why not just go through temu deals posted on ozb to see what people are buying? There are also a lot of comments within each deal about what people bought.

    • Seems so simple, yet ….

i have literally been bombarded with temu ads everywhere i dont have adblocker running… i did look a few times but the watch category (the only category i care about) is still missing all the popular ones the ali has.

  • the whole site is already a bargain.
even i spot some prices lower than ali (and that not considering ali 10% gst)
just check how much usb c cable at harvey norman.

what we need is special code like the 30% off….

    bunch of cheap chinese crap

Considering some of the items I see posted as a “bargain” around here I can’t tell if that’s a good thing or a bad thing…

For the dense, that’s also a joke.

Better that than expensive Chinese crap 😄

The collapsible washing machine looks very intriguing to me. Anyone bought it? Reviews on YouTube aren’t half bad. Would be good for small items but you’d have to change the water yourself for multiple rinses.

  • From Temu . what you pay what you get. ( that's all ).

Good for knock off Lego. Far less brand electronics unlike AliExpress but when they do the prices are usually competitive and fast shipping.

I miss the opening sale where you got massive discounts and freebies. I had $310 knocked off a $450 order exploiting the discounts.

if you are a first time user of Temu,

    download the app
and make a purchase within the first hour
use code "JOIN5746" for 50% off your order

  • Don't they have a minimum order amount?

  • -1

    Is it legit?

  • Minimum order $30 for free shipping.
Ordered a few times with no issues.
$5 refund if it doesn't arrive by specified date

    • Really… mine is AUD $20 min

      • mine 29… lol doesnt matter. its easy to spend $50

  • I've made an order. It was really cheap and similar quality/same suppliers as Ali Express, but much faster shipping. I feel like it's cheap at the moment because they're trying to build a customer base so I'm expecting prices to increase

  • gave it a go today, grabbed a knockoff leatherman for $15, see how she goes. i buy stuff like that on amazon or ebay anyway and its normally more, and im over aliexpress

    Thanks for the JOIN5746 code.
Only wanted a $5 item but needed $20 for free shipping.
Ended up with 16 things for $26, mostly household staples like packing tape, good deal compared to eBay / Amazon for the one thing I actually wanted and a heap of extras

    • Wow the code still works?

      • +1

Yup, completely fine. I had checked out $25 worth of stuff but then found code, so cancelled and doubled my haul of loot I don't really need
