what do people use this for? i mean id just rather use actual tools, that are cheaper and do the job much better….
Cant always carry around a pair of pliers, smooth blade knife, serrated knife, saw, bit driver, […], jeweller's screwdrivers, just on the odd chance you need them, but you can quite feasibly carry around a multitool in a belt pouch all day every day.
I've got a leatherman One Hand Tool that I carry around with me at work, and there's a good chance I can do any small job that might pop up just with that, rather than having to go back to my toolbox to get a proper standalone tool.
Good to have one in the car than actual sized tools.
Since I lost the OG Wave I'd had since 1999 back in January, I've found lots of times I've reached for it, only to have to go get a specific tool from the garage instead. Bullet proof as they could possibly be, good warranty, I found mine useful hundreds of times in the 23 years of owning it. Whoever found mine is lucky, I'll definitely buy another, this seems a decent price for the + version.
