    WARNING and FYI that Lighting to USB A (these cables) don't allow for iPhone fast charging.

    You need Lightning to USB C for fast charging (and a fast charging brick of course).

    I bought a ton of these and fast charging wall chargers (non usb c) for a few rooms around the house in the past and found out afterwards that they won't fast charge iPhones :(

    These appear to be using the original C48 Lightning Connector Chip, rather than the newer C89 Lightning Connector Chip.

        C89 Chip is more durable and stable than original C48

        Functions the same

        Apple stopped making C48 since 2019

        These are using old parts which are still MFI certified

              @neonlight: Looks like they just make a statement about it being MFi certified on their Amazon ad listing - but no where on the actual product packing does it mention being MFi certified. Nor does it come up on the Apple MFi register.

      I received my cables today and there isn't even any Mfi labeling on the retail packaging. Also no model info on the packaging to look up. I have also noticed max compatibility is listed with iPhones XS Max and below. So yea, just a cheap generic cable and description on Amazon does not match the retail specs on the box. Probably is not even basic Mfi certified.

    Got my denim lightning cables delivered today. No MFi rating or label on the retail box. Generic box. Max tested compatibility is iPhone XS Max. So yea, description on Amazon does not match the box. Most likely not even basic Mfi, just standard eBay quality cable. .

        Nope, no model info on packaging. Just say's USB Sync & Charge Cable. Specifications USB 2.0. Amp 2.4. So don't think it is Mfi certified. If it was, it would have been labelled all over the box / packaging and it also wouldn't just list all iPhones below XS Max. I would only use it for charging and not risk doing data transfer or backups with the cable as I have seen backups getting corrupted with dodgy cables and you wouldn't know until restoring iPhones from backups with error messages popping up so don't risk it.
