Same here, won't hurt to give them a try. Works out $100 cheaper than buying from the Apple website. Usually Apple sells quality products, but just at over inflated prices.

After spending most of the half hour these were on COTD before midnight reading reviews and what not i decided to purchase a pair. Just noticed while browsing through past catches these were on COTD during the Technothon, Sunday just gone, for $69.95 + shipping.
Or buy secondhand from this guy for $ 120

All the reviews I've read so far, both on Amazon & Techradar & Cnet are very positive. I'd blame it on a lack of a common headphone brand like Sennheiser or Audio Technica - sort of like a hidden gem that needs word of mouth to get people interested
The only fault I can see is that its more of a head to pocket length cord which wouldn't be ideal for listening to the stereo with headphones or using it with a desktop PC so you'd need a cable extension
how good are these headphones in terms of sound and bass quality, being an over the ear head phone do they get hot. They certainly look good very nice design. How better will music sound from this than the standard iPod earphones.
Bought mine on COTD last time they were on sale for $69.95. Must say I have been more than happy with them. Nice clear vocals, good definition, able to hear considerably more than my recent sony's. Bass is very good but not over powering. Took me a little while to get used to them but now enjoying them very much.
Curious why they come with '12 month CatchOfTheDay Warranty ' and not manufacturer, would that be because they are imports? Or refurbs? or refurb imports? or… ??? Not overly worried, just wondering.
I'm guessing that's the case. I mean Incase probably has no HQ over here, it's all imported, and it's only the Apple store that mainly stocks their stuff as well. So I think if you were to claim warranty you'd have to do it through CatchOfTheDay to do it.
I guess sort of the same if you got it from the Apple store, you'd claim it from the apple store too?

Mine arrived the other day. Very happy with them for the price paid. Nice and comfy, feels like they're not on your head after a while, very light.
Totally agree. Very comfortable and sit just where you want them too. Nice to listen to music through also.
These headphones are awesome, especially for the price. Really well built, very comfy, great sound. My only regret is that I didn't buy more.
I reordered some more yesterday but now they look like they have sold out.
Seems to have pretty positive reviews. I've bought a pair and we will see how they go.
