  • how does this airfyer compare to Instant Vortex Plus 5.7l Air Fryer?

    • +1

      1.4KG = 7.3L
      so its larger than 5.7L

    • This is considered one of the best from what I've seen. Been researching them the last few weeks and like 80% of recommendations are the Philips XXL

    I brought this airfryer from the last deal and the handle comes off the basket like its missing a screw.. it works well enough but a bit anoying.

      Do you mean the handle comes off the fryer basket? If that's the case surely its faulty.

      Just checking as its designed otherwise to work that way and can understand the confusion as the basket is separate to the main base of the fryer.

      • Yes, the handle that holds the basket. Just slides stright off. I couldnt be bothered with doing a return as the options are to send the whole thing away.. its working fine aside from that. Im sure i can find a screw somewhere to fix it. Saves me the hasle of doing a return but it is pretty silly. I received it in its original box, packed well and sealed.

    • How do you go cleaning it? Have a second hand one, pain in the ass to clean, not sure if it's just cause the non-stick has gone.

        My wife throws it in the dishwasher.. i assume its fine but tbh i dont ever use it so cant comment too much on how its cleaned. Im sure ive seen it soaking prior when lamb has been through it… other then that im not sure

  • Was considering this one and the Tefal 3in1 with steam function. I ended up ordering this one instead of the Tefal steam combo one. My partner wants the Tefal steam function but the lack of removable basket is a deal breaker for me.
