Thanks for a non Amazon Prime post !

  • 77 inch OLED for under $4K seems very cheap!

      Because it is

  • damn. just bought from TGG 15% + stacked with 5% giftcards. This is a better deal for those who have costco. Recommended if you're looking for OLED. It's the same as the top end s95c. Less brighter only but only marginally. If you're looking for brightness though where the TV is opposite a window for example, then get a QLED instead. I have a relatively bright open space room and i don't see any glares or reflections with this tv.

  • Using this in the theatre room where no light would it make much difference compare s95c in regards picture quality ?

Harvey Norman had it for a similar price if combined with a soundbar

  • LG G3 OLED or this one? Was just about to buy from from JB.

if 77 inches, then G3 OLED because of MLA and snappy WebOS compared to Tigen

      • Sorry I should have been more specific, don’t have the budget to get a 77” G3. Was gonna go for a 65” G3 for aorund for $3500 delivered. But happy to spend $500 more for a 77” and I have no idea about OLEDs hence asking the question.

That's not a huge difference, if u have space for 77 inch tv then would recommend this over 65G3.

LG G series is the better tv. I would recomend LG if you are not fussed about the size. Also do you use it for games, movies ?? do you want to wall mount?

          • @apple2016: I’ve heard that it’s the LG flagship for 2023 on several reviews. Mainly movies May potentially hook up my PS5 to this as well. Currently have a wall mount 55” Sony Bravia (non Oled) from 2018. Was thinking of wall mounting the 65” G3 but I probably wouldn’t wall mount this 77” behemoth! I might drop by JB on my lunch break so I can hopefully see both in action.

          • @apple2016: What I’m mainly looking for in an OLED tv is good contrast, the deep blacks, snappy interface (anything is snappier than the google tv os my current one is running atm) and hopefully something that won’t die on me or have a higher resistance to burn in.

            • @Tazzaaa: I have to block 16 domains to get rid of ads on a Samsung. Not sure what's involved with LG or if it gets adverts. Just extra info for you to consider.

        • I have a lg 65 c1 purchased a few years back, i was always worried it was too small for the room i had it in. After about a week or so and i was used to the size i realised i should have got the 77. So a month ago i got the 77c3 and its great, faster processor and snappier navigation and apps start faster and brighter than the c1. Remote is better also. If you can get a 77 i would recommend . Also dont stress about the wall mount a 77, i had the 65c1 wall mounted and was worried the 77 was too heavy, but surprisingly the c3 77 is lighter than the 65 c1 by a few kgs.

        • Hope you got it mate @Tazzaaa
Been to costco yesterday and saw the tv in person, it's amazing
Thought of buying it today and it's gone :(

    • Try the Rtings site for a great comparison. I'd take the G3 over this for it's superior brightness in my bright room, but overall it's a close contest between them.
