Equivalent to all time low.

From G-SHOCK, the toughness watches that are ever evolving in an endless pursuit of strength, this combination model combines analog and digital displays. Equipped with a millisecond stopwatch and speedometer. Boasts JIS class-1 magnetic resistance and excellent practicality. The face design consists of four large LCD displays with large aluminum hour and minute hands that are lightweight and have excellent shock resistance. The analog and digital displays are laid out symmetrically, giving the face a dynamic design.

According to comments it's a pretty chunky watch and it has a negative LCD display that might be hard to read for some

  • Normal /previous price $137?

    • used the copy paste function, I've removed the inflated rrp now.

  • Clothing, Shoes & Accessories › Men › Watches › Wrist Watches

would that track under "Shoes, Handbags & Accessories" CR category I wonder and be eligible for 20% cb?

    • +1

I'm fairly certain you will get 8% cashback since it's listed under Watches. It does say "Clothing Shoes and Accessories" on top of the page, but this sort of a high level category, that contains other categories within it.

  • On a side note, does anyone have the gbd100? Are they any good?

    • they have the newer gen MIP display so excellent readability. i don't have one since i prefer ana/digis and don't have much use for the fitness features.

      • Yep indeed it does. I juat wanted it for the step cointer tbh.

        • the gba-800 i wear just about all the time has a step counter and bluetooth and nothing fancier than necessary. nice dual led light on dial and lcd screen. doesn't seem to be much in the way of good prices on it though

          • @tdw: Thanks, thats good to know i had seen that too but thought it could be cheaper.

            • @habib23q: i paid $118.30 from david jones back in january.

if you don't mind fluoro yellow and have amazon prime, the gbd-200 for $149 is a solid buy: https://www.amazon.com.au/G-SHOCK-GBD-200-9DR-G-Squad-GBD200…

              • @tdw: Nah maybe in the 80s i would've rocked this as it reminds me of the hang 10/mambo hyper fluro coloured tshirts and hoodies i used to wear back then. But i guess you could change the band but I ended up buying the red and black gbd100, as it's a decent price it seems.

                • +1

@habib23q: yeah sometimes better to just pay more for what you want rather than trying to find something cheaper that doesn't quite scratch that itch.

                  • @tdw: Well i actually have so many watches already from retro Casios and Seikos to more modern Smartwatches as well as fitbits too. I wear a Huawei GT 2 most of the time as it can last upto 2 weeks. But i also miss wearing more rugged watches. I used to have a gshock back in the day and i also have so many aliexpress watches too. Its always good to have them on rotation. But your very right about that.

                    • @habib23q: lol same. my problem is, so many watches fit that categry. and the g-shocks in my collection far outnumber my seikos and citizens combined. i bought a vintage gs-500 that arrived yesterday and despite a problem with the movement - the backlight still works - it's in such good condition that i'm going to keep it anyway for parts.

do you remember what g-shock you had?

                      • @tdw: I dont remember the first one i had as it was long ago but the one i was wearing for ages was the camo GD120. It was very durable and i think i have sold it somewhere down the track lol
