    • Correct, not a bad idea to pre purchase if you are confident you will visit in the 12 months you need to activate the pass by.

  • Is this a family pass or an adult how much for two adults and two kids do I need to buy 4 of these?

    • It’s $149 per person, regardless of adult or child.

  • Can anyone confirm this is avail to everyone or is just gold coast locals?

    • Purchased using a NSW address so you should be good to go!

    • Terms and Conditions for this pass absolutely has no residency requirements

  • Has anyone purchased this successfully from QLD with an existing Themepark account ? It seems that I cannot able to purchase it. Do we have to purchase through his link ? Cos I don't see this link when I log in to exisitng themepark account ?

    • I had no issues purchasing with an existing account. Maybe try checking out as guest? I don’t think you need to sign into your account to check out.

      • All good now. thaks

    • You must purchase through this link, this isn’t a publicly advertised offer.

But there shouldn’t be any issues using an existing account.

  • Does anyone know the difference between this and the Costco 164.95$ super pass 4 parks 7 days ?

    • +2

The Costco one I would assume is 7 days from first use. This is 12 months from first use. This pass is a no brainer.

Thanks OP! Just bought 5 passes👍

  • Got 3 passes, cheers

  • Thanks OP! Great timing as I'm going to GC in a few weeks.

  • Thanks OP!

  • Nice. Been waiting for this quite a while as missed out on earlier deal. Payment failed (so it said) first time, and was ok second time. Then looking at credit card, I see two charges, so hopefully will sort itself out.

  • Thanks, OP. I got 8 passes.

  • Got 3 passes for my family, thanks OP!

  • How long do each of these parks take with a 2.5yo? Doesn't seem like that many rides for that age, probably only half a day each?

Also how much is taxi/uber from broadbeach gonna be to the parks?

Just booked a week long trip because of this.

    • +1

$25-45 with Uber depending on the park, you’ll find more entertainment at SeaWorld for the toddler - easily the whole day

    • +1

SeaWorld has a number of rides suitable, plus the animal attractions.

Movie world has maybe 3 rides suitable depending on how adventurous they want to be, plus the street parades etc.

If you're city-orientated then the paradise country is good for half a day.

Depending again on how adventurous your children are and weather, the wet and wild childrens area has been developed well over the last couple of years so that's a good half a day of fun.

    • +2

Sea World is probably the best one for a 2.5yo. Traffic can be pretty bad to Sea World but I’d say maybe 20mins by car with traffic. There’s a public bus that goes direct to sea world from Broadbeach, just need to buy a gocard for the bus. In my experience 2.5yos love a bus ride.

Movie world and paradise country will be harder to get to and Uber is pretty expensive these days. You can get a shuttle, but likely just as expensive.

There’s also some pretty good stuff for 2.5yo free in Broadbeach when you don’t want to make the trip 1. The beach 2. The all abilities playground at Kurrawa 3. Pacific fair has a number of kids play areas and a really great range of shops.

    • Thanks @cycloneaussie @2023 @morse, after more research I'm thinking maybe Main Beach is a better place to stay. Sea World is very close, Uber cheaper to the other parks from there, quiter, accommodation cheaper, can have a nice beach walk to surfers or tram to surfers / broadbeach as required. Thoughts?

      • +1

I really like Broadbeach, but like Main Beach too and if it’s going to make travel easier for you then great. The Broadwater parklands are also really cool with young kids and not far from main beach (just some water in between and there’s a bridge) https://www.goldcoast.qld.gov.au/Things-to-do/Parks-gardens-…

How do we know this is legitimate? I called Village roadshow as this is not advertised on their website and they said they are unable to comment/verify 3rd party deals.

    • +6

It's literally their website, it's not a third party.

      • -6

It's not on their website, it this price only comes up via clicking on the link provided in Oz bargain. There is no promo code either to purchase via the official website. Just checking as the deal does seem too good to be true at half price. Given it looks like the official website I was confused when I called village roadshow to check as they advised this is not a listed price via their site.

        • +6

Can confirm it's legit and activates fine. We went to Seaworld yesterday. Absolutely no issues at all.

          That's the original link.

OzB creates reference links that direct to all the deal links.

Bought 3 passes, shows up on the Village Roadshow app

      • -3

I've down loaded the app, where do you find this deal on the app?

        • +1

Just buy from the link above and create an account in the process. Download the app and sign in, the passes are there.

If you're still skeptical of the deal, just don't buy :/

  • +1

For a change perfect timing. Had just arrived Gold Coast and discussing what we should do. Literally 15 mins later this came up. We'll be back in September and again next May. Absolute no brainer.

  • +1

Looks like deal is over. Getting 404 Page not found :-(

  • +1

Ah damn. Missed out! anyone know how often something like this would come up? and where this was first offered?
    seems like it wasnt advertised?

    • I'd like to know too.

    • This kind of thing is never normally offered to the public at large.

Based on the url I would assume it was offered to someone that previously held one of these 4 park passes and had ignore/not utilised other offers once it expired.

      @BangkokBreakfast ?

  • Is this still available or no longer ? Thank you

    • No longer, unfortunately. I missed out too

  • Can anybody confirms if their passes are working ? I bought the passes but will not be activating till January-February 2024 ? Does that mean if I activate them I will get 12 months from the date of activation ?Thanks

    • +1

thats how I read the T&C's

  • +2

Ah, distracted and missed out :((

  • Dang missed it again! :O

Any chance anyone is willing to flip their unactivated Passes (if no longer required ofcourse) please? 🙏

Preferably upto 4 passes but will take any at this stage.. Cheers!

  • Ah missed out
