Nike React Infinity 3 - Men's Black $119.99 + $9.95 Post ($0 Perth C&C) @ Jim Kidds Sports

530

Just noticed JimKidd had the Men's Nike React Infinity 3 in the popular/classic blackout colorway at a very good price of $119.99, these rarely pop up under $160 on special unless it's in unusual colours and more often in women's versions.
Also seems to be most sizing available including 1/2 sizes.
Hope this helps a few people out, happy OzBargaining :)

  • Got these for $99 from footlocker about 6wks ago. Great shoes.

    • so did I… very comfy shoes.

    • Agreed great pair of shoes!

Hey mate are they slippery the soles look slippery

        • Honestly sometimes when the ground is wet. Especially with worn soles.

That said, since they are so vented, they're not something you'd wear in very wet weather for any length of time.

They are absolutely great shoes, though.

Did you get them in black as well? Trying to work out if this is a bargain

      • +1

Apparently footlocker did have the black ones for $99 but this is still a rare price.
One thing to note is that there's a new model now so as time goes on the chances they'll come up at a better price will only increase (assuming there's a decent amount of unsold stock out there) as more businesses clear out the old stock and start selling the new ones.

  • Have 2 pairs, highly recommend!
Just ordered another one from Rebel for $149 with $10 cash back from CommBank 👌

  • This is a good price for the all black colourway, footlocker did have them in the half yearly sale for $99 from memory, however, op is right in that they aren’t regularly discounted down to this level.

  • Are the sizes on the website US or Uk?

    • Pretty sure it's US sizing

    • All the sizes are US, mentioned on their website.

    No Size 13 :|

  • How are these? slippery? the soles look slippery?

    • +1

I haven't had any issues with them being any more slippery than other running shoes I've owned but tbh haven't really tried them out on slippery ground in the wet, the sole is made of the same grippy rubber that most Nike runners are so even though it looks kinda slick they aren't any worse than any other running shoes in my experience. Not sure if that answers your question but there's my 2c for what it's worth!

    • I got the black ones, wouldn't recommend them in the wet - wore them walking today and slippery toe push off on most surfaces. The Peggy's would be better in this case. Still great all other times.

  • Does anyone know what sizing do they do use in this website? US or UK?

    • Haven't searched the site, but I'd guess US like everyone works with for Nike.

  • Most comfortable shoes I've ever had. Good for walking, running, court sports. Just about anything.

  • Thanks, I was just going to buy these two days ago, forgot and now you saved me!

  • Have 3 pairs. Can run serious kms in these daily with no injuries. Or just walk on clouds as a casual for an amazing shoe.

Don’t forget the Womens version with free tight pants.

  • Only size 8 and 14 left… I shouldn't have pondered over it 😢

Ha, sounds like you didn't need it then, and saved $120.
Tbh those Pegasus 39 are good enough for $80-100 (at least for walking/causal runs, I'm not a serious runner).

      • Makes me feel better for delaying too. Just got some Pegs for a casual runner.

Can still get some for a reasonable price via Rebel with the 15% cashback deal.

  • Still got stock in store for the same price if anyone has missed out.

Hi Oz Bargain, we have had a huge response for this particular shoe over the weekend so just updated the stock levels and most sizes are back in stock (Mens 8 - 14)

Hope this helps if anyone missed out.

    Cheers,

I've removed the sold out banner.
Tx for restocking now we just need free shipping ;D

    • Cool .. you are amazing .. thank you.

  • May have to try these on, thick or thin socks recommend?

Are these much better than ultraboost and pegusus?
Someone recommended the gel nimbus 25 but they aren't down to $150 often. The other option is a more zero drop (less cushioning) shoe like the Altra - fair bit more $$ though.

    • As you said, it's really best just to try a pair and see how they feel for you.

      • Cheers, read a few reviews and tried on at rebel. Grabbed them on price match. They are certainly different to the Peggy but both good. From what I gather, the Infinity is good for longer distance, more bouncy. They do have more arch support and rocking movements should be ok.

I thought they had a nice feel … they have always been popular so cant really go wrong … you just need to be careful with some of those extreme Nike running shoes, like the Vaporfly, that are really not suitable for walking/casual use because they have a narrow and unstable heel for walking.

          • @matt-ozb: Yeah those next % are meant to be great but still pretty expensive.

Haven't worn these yet but should be good and have never had all black. Surely still ok for walking and short runs not just long slow km.

    • +1

I have the Nimbus 25 .. not really a direct comparison .. the Nimbus 25 are comparable to the Nike Invincible 3 .. mega cushioned

    • Just pick mine up. Compared to Ultraboost 1.0-5.0, the React Infinity has a steeper step drop which people who are not used to it may not like it. My old Epic React didn't have as steep step drop as well. Ultraboost is more fitting while the React Infinity has more space around the front. Maybe I should have tried half size down and see whether it fits better.

      • Sounds ok , just get the same size as you normally get in Nike. I hate a narrow toe box and these are good. I'm actually selling some ultraboost that are half a size smaller than my Nike size. They are too snug and can only wear for walking in thin socks.

Also for piece of mind could just try on the half size down at another store and you may find what you got is right.

  • Ps. I'm liking the drop in these, feel more urgent and make you want to run

    • Those look alright. Probably won't be less than full price for a fair while though. If they are anything like Peggys then the difference between models is very minimal.

$99-120 still seems like a pretty good price for the 3 anyway.

  • Just be careful with Jim Kidds sport does not offer a free mail return for online orders. Only offering exchange in store.
Personally would buy it from there. Foot Locker is much better

    • The shop is in WA as well so it's a bit pointless unless you are over there, postage time would be longer i think. Best to try on and just price match in rebel (like I did).
