I can't remember which Marvel movie Volume 2 was, but I do know my ass didn't fall asleep while watching it so I must have enjoyed it.
The opening sequence of Volume 2 is funny.

It was good but didn't explain how Peter Quill lost his rocket boots or mask…. You know, the things that make him "Starlord".
Or the scenes that they were breathing normally in space and then he nearly died floating in space.

There is a convoluted explanation. They were destroyed in Vol 2 and the director wanted them to stay destroyed. The Infinity War / Endgame directors added them back. At the start of Volume 3 he leaves them on Knowhere while they're all rushing out.
When were they breathing normally in space?
First when rockets ship front glass was destroyed while flying in space.
When the portal broke between the 2 ships and they were all exposed to space
usually its a plot thing, i remember in winter soldier i got really annoyed about how captain america didn't carry a sidearm, but there were too many places in the story where he could have just shot someone or something and finished the movie right there.
When’s little mermaid coming out
I don't see a problem with race swapping characters, what difference does it make. There was no special reason for the mermaids to be white in the animation. I just wish the live action movies were better. But people seem to like them, they are making money, more money than a 2D animation would make Disney these days. People don't like 2D anymore. 3D costs more to make but it makes more money per dollar invested, live action makes even more too. But the live action movies just aren't objectively "good", though Aladdin was okay. The rest felt a little bit more like direct to streaming quality.

Live action Lion King was an abomination to my childhood. It felt like the same movie but at the same time felt like it had no life, heart or substance.
@Puglife: Yes, Pinocchio was even worse for that. Seeing Del Toro's Pinocchio compared to it, his felt more Disney than Disney.
@AustriaBargain: Oh wow when Pinocchio started it looked so good. I thought this might be decent. Then Tom Hanks started singing and it all went downhill…
@Puglife: On paper it should have been good. Making movies must be a lot harder than good movies make it look. At the end of the day Disney executives aren't creating these movies, they need to take a risk and trust producers and directors, the alternative is not making movies, not using the IP at all.

@piston3461: It costs $24.99 at the moment to "buy" the digital copy of the movie on other services. A subscription to Disney+ is $13.99 for a months subscriptions.
So if someone really wanted to watch that one particular movie and not download it illegally, one could watch it for cheaper by getting a one month subscription to Disney+ along with other content, arguably making it a deal.
Other people may also have purchased a yearly subscription to some subscription service on a different deal and not be actively using it to know about the upcoming release, so post like this can make them aware of upcoming content on their existing services helping them get value out of their deal, I'd say that also post worthy seeing people can opt out of seeing such posts like this.
I think it speaks more to how fragile and sensitive some users are 👀

It’s not that objectionable, there’s just a very noisy minority who have never learned how to block things or read the rules.

So vol 1 & 2 are essential viewing before watching 3? We don't need to watch any other mcu movie, besides maybe avengers endgame? Don't want to miss out on important story beats

We tried to do the right thing but subscribing. First the government got greedy and demanded GST.
Then streaming companies became more greedy after they saw the massive profits during covid , and they are not backing down.
So its back to free streaming sites.
Thought this was weakest of the 3, with 1 still being the stand out.
The constant flashbacks drowned out everything else.
I get it , his tragic history motivates him today, just like all the other characters.
Sometimes less is more.
