Surfshark VPN: 100% Cashback (New Surfshark Customers Only) @ TopCashBack US

130

Have you missed the surfshark 97% cashback deal?

Topcashback US is giving 100% cashback for this great VPN.

Had been using it for the past 7+ years without any issues.

Used Topcashback for the first time, and I was thinking that their tracking might be as good as CR or SB. But it got tracked in an hour.

Choose another country in the checkout to remove the service tax. I opted for the US in the dropdown box, it went to 0.

Topcashback is giving $10 USD for the first-time user. Use the random referral below.

Make sure you use the Topcashback US and not the AU site.

You would earn $$ cashback in USD, and to use them in AU you would need to pay USD -> AUD conversion fee. (reducing your true cashback amount)
Also in case of use with paypal, for some transactions it AUTO FORCES TO USE PAYPAL BALANCE INSTEAD OF CC for transaction. (aka AUTO-Enforcing its own exchange rate)

I would personally get the AUD 97% cashback deal instead of having to deal with the exchange rates, (and possibly not being able to use USD)

    • Can you please link the 97% one or where I can find it?

      • I mean wait for a deal of around that %, its not really that much of a wait may be a month at max TBH

        • Cheers mate I saw shop back has 95% on cyber ghost and PIA - what do you think of those ?

            • @777: Thanks for the Product Review link!
Haven't used VPN before and still deciding which one to go for.

I realise most reviews will be negative on Product Review.
But reading those reviews, I'm more confused.

Thought NordVPN is popular, but some pretty bad recent reviews with slow internet, too complex to use, even problems with banning emails and websites.

          • @OzSikh96k: to be really honest I would rather get Nord VPN, or Express VPN (and wait for that deal since they seem to work with the recent Netflix/Prime/Youtube/Google/Apple etc overseas account hack - More reliably than other brands), otherwise PUREVPN is 100% i think (or may be expired not sure).

I have not used Cyberghost or PIA, cannot comment on them how they are.

The free $10 which they give for the first-time user, is more than enough to compensate for all those fees.

I had done it before. And it won't cost more than $5, even if it takes around $10, still you get it for free.

Is it 100% cashback on the order total with or without tax? ShopBack calculated cashback without tax included, which meant I got less then the advertised 97%.

        • There is no tax when you choose the country as the US….
So whatever money you pay, you get it back fully …

Any chance you can use Wise for withdrawals? Don't know what options are available on topCashback. But potentially could use US bank account details from wise which I believe won't attract any fees while withdrawing.

      • In any case, we need to convert it back to another currency if we aren't going to buy/use it in USD.

They have the option to get a virtual VISA card as a payout, which even provides an extra 5% as a bonus ..

  • Starter, One, One+ or any?

    • Damnnn I didn't think about that … Yepp 100% is applicable for all the packages….

      I should have chosen the one+ …
      Smarttttt

  • Thanks for sharing this. Used my Wise card and got almost the same rate as on Google with only a 30 cent difference. Much better than the International Transaction Fee that SurfShark normally charges (when using an Oz debit card).

Fingers crossed that the cashback truly works!

I used the Revoult card … It was on par with the standard exchange rate…

Wait for an hour for the tracking to happen…

Good that we have a 30-day money-back guarantee from surf shark…

      • Glad to hear that, may sign up for Revoult as well.
For me, It has been close to 24 Hours, and it has still not appeared in my dashboard… When do I throw the towel in?

        • +1

Damnnnn 24 hours…. Then I think you should ask them for a manual entry ….

      • To buy this it is showing me charges in AUD, does that means it will still charge me international transaction fee or will the charge be done in AUD….

  • According to Choice Magazine online June 2023, Surfshark VPN scored 74% or 19/24 VPN's tested
Good points • Excellent performance from the Australian servers we connected to • Extremely easy to switch servers when already connected
    • Can choose which apps or sites run through the VPN (has split tunnelling) • Supports unlimited amount of simultaneous devices
    • Effective ad blocking
Bad points • Must fend off attempts at upselling during purchase • Purchase was set as a recurring payment
    • Cancellation process is tedious (more than two cancel operations required) or unclear
    • Pricing not clear during purchase process • Foreign exchange fee incurred

    • Thanks for sharing the info!

From reading Product Review, the popular NordVPN is complex to setup/use.
      Surfshark hopefully is easier.

Common issues seems to be Foreign exchange fee & Auto-Renewal(even when set to cancel).

      Would a workaround be to:
      1) pay with PayPal with linked Latitude credit card (no exchange fee)?

      2) can switch off auto-payment in PayPal to prevent charge after subscription period?

Can also use PayPal to withdraw Topcashback USD cashback?

      Am I missing something?

  • Hi, sorry I can't answer your questions. I subscribe to CHOICE mag, I like to copy/paste from their website when OzBers are asking questions about certain products.
I am currently with Kaspersky Secure Connection VPN which I bought off eBay for AU$24 for 12 monthsI was so impressed with their up/down speeds and the
list of countries that I bought 2 more years while they were on sale AU$20/12 months. But many people don't trust Kaspersky due to their apparent association with Russia.
But this has been the best VPN I've used after previously subscribing to PureVPN and CyberGhost VPN.

  • Thanks for sharing! Always good to hear about alternatives.

In reading reviews, Kaspersky has some good reviews in terms of reliability. But yes some chose to stay away due to their apparent association with Russia. (While others comment they trust it more than US VPNs)

I realise that paying with Latitude CC (exchange Fee-Free) will end up incuring a fee if paid through PayPal
