  • hi question, sites like momondo are comparison sites right? cant we book direct with the airline and get the same price? or using comparisons sites can be cheaper?

  • Using the comparison sites bring back a range of booking options, and often it is cheaper to book through an OTA (online travel agent). You can book directly through the airline just add around $50~ to the prices I have listed.

  • so do you also own momondo.com.au ?

haha no, I am just sharing good deals :) I don't get commissions

  • My son has been resisting all the Jetstar deals to Japanl as he reads the comments online and really think its not worth it as Jetstar can ruin his holiday, he would be happy to see a Qantas sale.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge. It is so important to have the opportunity of getting good deals. I notice that it seems that Asian and lesser known Middle Eastern airlines are often omitted from listings from major on line travel agents.e.g. China airlines based in Taipei, who had premium economy flights at about $600 more than price night time flights on other airlines. For passengers like me who hate overnight flights the extra comfort was worth the extra expense.

    • China Airlines are a great airline! They used to often have good deals, I expect they will back with those soon :)

      • I would love to fly China Air (Taiwan based) again, good service and comfortable seats if you don't mind the stopover. :)
JAL does not operate out of Brisbane unfortunately, had used them once and it was marvellous even for an economy class.
