[NSW] Voucher for a Free adidas FIFA Women's World Cup Fan Cape @ adidas, Martin Place

60

Vouchers being handed out for a free cape next to the fountain at Martin Place. Take it to the adidas store around the corner to redeem.

Cape is a decent size and appears to be good quality. Imprinted with adidas and World Cup logos.

Looks like there was heaps left when I went (around 1:30pm).

  • OzBargain meet and greet soon. I’m in SA. Please accept my apology of not attending!

I misread the title as 'cap' and was a little excited

  • Is it just me or is the build up to this WC really underwhelming? Feel like my excitement has been killed a bit by the lack of hype and coverage about it.

women’s football in general is underwhelming . Have never watched a full match period.

The game is resorting to bribing and literally shaming people and businesses to support them.

They are demanding equal pay as the men’s game despite having little or no real audience apart from the people and families involved.

As professional women's soccer teams get thrashed by teenage boys, the teenage boys should get equal pay. Or the women should get paid the same $0 as the teenage boys.

Far more tickets have been sold to the WWC matches this week than to the last 3 years worth of socceroos games.

Socceroos got 20,000 to an essential WC qualifier against Japan in the 30,000 seat Commbank Stadium. Matildas sold out the 80,000 seat Stadium Australia in 1 hr.

When I saw an article in The Age today trying to describe the off-side rule (including an AI recreated 3D model of a scenario), some obviously believe that there must be a lot of people uneducated in the game.

      • I saw that, wtf?

  • the people aren't there anymore, but you could go into the store and they might have some spares.

  • I don't trust men in capes

I’ll let Frank Costanza’s lawyer know, thanks.
