I just line my air fryer with baking paper keeps it mostly clean.

    • Yup baking paper works or even foil (if it is like a mini oven)

    • +2

I just wash mine. Most of the time I'm just heating a pie or something. Housemates use it for messy sauces but it's better than them messing up the stove top I guess.

    • You need enough food to weigh down the paper/foil. When I'm cooking for one, for example a couple of chicken strips, everything is blown around like a tumble dryer.

      • Which will probably happen with this product too.

  • Bought for a few bux on aliexpress and temu

    • Have you got a link? Last time I checked they were about the same price as the OP.

        Gotta keep an eye out.
        Bought mine a week ago

  • The code is not working yet

    • That's weird working here

  • +21

    https://www.amazon.com.au/amxus-Disposable-Non-Stick-Parchme…

These look exactly the same and are cheaper. Am I missing something?

  • Thanks OP worked

  • +6

This product is a cost for laziness

Cheaper to line with baking paper or just clean with water and detergent

    • +3

Only 12c each time you want to be lazy sounds like a pretty good deal to me tbh

    • But with baking paper the oil will still go down.
this on the post here will not as the shape is like a basket.

  • +3

Air Fryer paper was around $5 when I saw it on coupons page last week, this isn’t a deal (imo)

    • +2

      The amazon king has spoken.

Any codes to make this free @ISP

  • +2

    Cheaper here without the codes

  • +1

Too small. Too thin. Oil residue still seeps through.

    Baking paper FTW.

    • 20cm x 20cm is just right for my air fryer. Have you tried these and can confirm oil sips through?

  • +22

Won't this drastically impede how well the air fryer can circulate air and cook your food?

  • +16

Air fryers are designed to blow the hot air not just on the top of the food, but also down the side and pushed back up to the underside of the food. Which is why there's a curved vortex shape on the base and why the basket has a cage on the bottom.

Putting foil, baking paper or this basket will help keep it clean. But you're not using the air frier the way it was designed which affects cooking times and crispiness.

    • +2

True unless you are using your airfryer simply as a replacement oven.

      Airfryers don’t really fry.

      • +4

Agreed. They are glorified ovens. But the ability to cook underneath faster and crate an overall crispier meal. If they're used properly.

    • They're designed for these oven-style ones

      https://www.kmart.com.au/product/3-in-1-air-fryer-oven-43199…

But we just line our tray qt the bottom with foil

  • Cheaper elsewhere without codes, per the comments. Doubt that air flow is not seriously impeded.

  • I read this as ‘panty liners’ at first glance 😂

    • You read it wrong!

  • +3

I used baking paper for a while but found stuff didn't cook as well without the air coming up from below (basket style air frier) so I wouldn't recommend.

  • +3

Oil can't drip away, works better without anything underneath.

  • +12
    1. buy an air fryer
    2. get paper sheets to block the airflow inside your airfryer
    3. shrug
    • But smile that you have replaced your oven and this saved time, money and emissions.

  • +1

    Conventional oven conversion kit

  • +1

Better to get perforated parchment paper for better air circulation

  • Not a bargain, more like advertising.

  • Got it from Temu for like $5 or so…

    • Agree but just checked, 100pcs is $6.30 ish

      • Yeah some of item in temu will increase price from time to time, as its maybe price is too low they dont make any profit.

  • I thought the purpose of air fryer is to let the oil drip down?

  • +1

Kind of defeats the purpose of an Airfryer a little does it not i.e. blocks the hot air from getting underneath the food to cook, brown & crisp?

    • Yes that has been said few time above.
Hmm but i like them.. no need to wash so often

      • You generally don't need to wash an air fryer much, certainly not every use. It gets hot enough that most of the food debris just chars up and I throw it into the dish washer once fortnight or so, after draining the oil out of course.

I suppose this might be useful if you're cooking battered food which is a pain normally.

  • If you can wait a few days, order these kind of things from temu ! i got 50 pack for $3. and best part about temu is that if price reduces after you have purchased something you get refund for the difference

  • This is not cheap at all, Temu or Ali sells them for 2-3 bucks….

    • Is Temu any good?

      • +1

Temu forces you to spend $30 every time you order. While the prices are lower than average, you may end up buying things you don't need just so you can fulfill the minimum order requirement.

Many items such as electronic devices on Temu are not very well made and the reviewers on each item are not very in-depth — people just vote 5 stars and don't really leave any remarks.

The delivery times are pretty fast (1+ week) and you get tracking for those items too.

  • Isn't Air Fryer Silicone Tray/Basket perhaps a more economical and environment friendly option? Has anyone tried, does it cook well?
