I think I'll wait until they shave.. shave the price a bit.

Shaving depends whether the bush is above or below… The waste ;)

  • I imagine this wouldn't be very good as a computer monitor? Especially with the 8ms response time?

    • +1

Probably not. Might be better to just get a decent monitor and then add a TV tuner to your computer if you want it?

      • you got it dude

  • Bush 24" Full

Hmmm.. damn straight a full bush should come equipped with…

    a comb

    ~boom tish~ =)

  • PS: Online only special. Ends September 8.!!

This is the same as the normal price for a brand-name 24" monitor, plus a set-top box. Ho-hum.

    • Except that once you have connected that up, you have no spare HDMI inputs for DVD player, cable TV, or computer. TVs have more inputs in general, although this particular one seems to skimp.

TVs also have built-in audio amplifier and speaker, which are usually adequate for watching TV. Your set-up has no audio unless you go for the more expensive "multimedia" monitors.

  • how many HDMI inputs?

  • Brand name tellies can go for an order of magnitude greater than "$0.2K" with generally similar features: eg 46"—with an increase to merely 1.9X the relative screen inches. So a plus from me.

Does this make sense to anyone? and a 46" has a lot more than 1.9 times the screen space of a 24", just under 4 times the space actually.

    • Sorry I was referring to diagonal measurement, given 2,000 dollars would purchase ~ 22 extra inches in a Samsung/Sony 46inch. At 1/10ths of that price =$200 I had not seen anything cheaper that would be comparable for a LED HDTV HDMI & Tuner etc.

  • Positive from me as it's $10 cheaper than the comparable Kogan screen, ignoring postage. Good to see a local retailers compete, even if it is special price vs normal price.

Edit: The TV listed now shows as sold out, however the same size Vivo (http://www.bigw.com.au/electronics/televisions/led-tv/bpnBIG…) can be had for $188.

  • At this price it must be a TN panel. For a PC it's fine, but TV… yuck!
