I'd stay away from Temu like a plague tbh. Toxic UI and bs Referral system. Also bootleg kits are hit and miss so you'd get what you paid for most of the time.
Agree. I've never bought anything from Temu, but constantly get ads from them. Inappropriate looking ads as well
It is Pinduoduo app from China. Aside the unethical labour aspects of lots of products listed there, the UI/UX are literally F2P mobile game UI/UX where it would "give" you discount if you spend above certain threesolds. Also don't get me start on their bs Referral system which literally lured you with their so-called "free gifts" but won't even let you know how many people you have to spam in order to get those "gifts" while not allowing you to pay for the rest either. However sadly it did work and they did get new signing up clients just by throwing out some cheap stuffs to people.
My wife is from China and she would stay away from this app even in its Chinese form. Aliexpress looks like legit reputable service compared to this hot trash.
@Grey 13: Yeah, my sister is addicted to it and been banned from some Facebook pages and groups from sharing referral links etc constantly. It's gamified the UI/UX, drawing heavily from gambling apps etc making it dangerously addictive. It's a brilliant idea from a dark UI/UX perspective. I'll definitely stick with Aliexpress.
@subywagon: Sorry to hear about your sister. Gambling hotline 1800 858 858 might be able to provide some additional advices even for family members to help their affected member.
Also I'll keep downvoting anyone promote Temu. That is just wrong to promote such a predatory app.
@Grey 13: Not sure why do you down voting anyone mentioned temu, but I bought from Temu and it definitely has its value, comparing with Amazon, eBay or any other online stop.
Not trying to change your mind, but simply share my 2 cents. I have 7 year old son, who loves soccer, but it is super hard and expensive to find turf boot with his size, Temu has plenty with price around $30 and very good quality, the shipment is free, takes about 10 days, and free return if wrong size, absolutely great experience to me
@playboyhaha: Agreed that it can be very convenient but so is AliExpress. Pray that your boy wouldn't have access to this app on your phone or smart devices as they were designed for people to literally buy more and more in a very gamified way per someone else said above. For people with compulsive obsessive disorder it might be even borderline toxic and unhealthy.

Worth mentioning that bootleg Bandai is terrible. I've made a few bootleg gundam kits and they're usually exercises in frustration - parts not fitting, needing glue, needing extensive sanding, etc.
Been there done that. Not to mention the plastic quality is at best questionable and at worst straightup toxic.
