Mini Metro and Mini Motorways are very cute little timewasters. Great for commute pick up and play.

I’m genuinely curious how this comes to be, when presumably the OS handles the audio output and the app probably shouldn’t need to know the output device.

Is it possibly related to the codec adopted by the app and there not being a fallback?

      • Yea not sure, played it for a few years on iOS, have bought on Android now too.

  • Great little game, I paid full price for it and it was totally worth it.
It's very meditative, good for when you want to zone out a bit and play something simple.

I wonder if the game engine keeps track of who is an effective transport engineer,
and then this data can be used by transport planning authorities for recruiting purposes, ha.
