Seems like a good deal on the Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz. I've only tried this briefly once and found it a bit strange since it uses grapes as well, so it might not be everyone's cup of tea.

With the 25% BWS cashback currently available this shiraz only comes to 89 - (89/1.1 * 0.25) = $68.77

Thanks, bought 1. I normally use bombay sapphire for my Gin & Tonic. I never tried flavoured Gin for G&T

Im personally not a huge gin person, but the shiraz gin on ice with a slice of fresh orange is decent! 👌

One could say that it was a Bloody good price.

  • +3

It was $44.50 on BWS also and just as I was about to pay it went back to $83

  • One of my favourite gins. Amazing price!

  • Bought this on a previous deal. It's okay but nothing special IMO. This is a good price though.

  • does this expire?

    • Nothing lasts forever. Kept in a cool place away from direct sunlight it should be shelf stable for +2 years.

      • okay great thanks
just wondering because it is steeped in grapes so would behave like wine

Valid point, looked into it more and turns out it will bottle age:

Bloody Shiraz Gin is made using zero synthetic colours or flavourings, so it will develop over time but it never goes bad. If you enjoy it fresh, bright and fruity, enjoy it within 3- 6 months of opening and store it in the fridge. If you want to see how it changes, let it age in the sealed bottle. You’ll notice the bright purple colour fade, a little sediment drop to the bottom of the bottle, and the flavours will develop a more ‘porty’, fortified wine character.

Four Pillars gin is excellent. Last year I did a gin distillery course in the UK and the 2 instructors both acknowledged that Four Pillars was their favourite of all worldwide gins - and it pained them to say it, being Poms.

Get in quick before the new corporate overlords cheapen and ultimately destroy the product.

    • I used to live around the corner from the distillery, it’s very disappointing to hear they’ve sold to such a conglomerate

This is great with a lemon mixer, and even better in a negroni
