  I believe that fanatical incurs an overseas transaction charge. So use travel card ike 28degrees, ING etc?

    Their prices are in Australian Dollars these days but I've always used PayPal in Checkout and there hasn't been any additional fee but YMMV depending on payment method used.

      The AUD bit was what surprised me when I incurred an overseas transaction charge last time… I hate it when companies do that.

        Agreed. I'm guessing it was one of the big four bank's cards you used. As if their profits aren't enough… some executive probably earned a huge bonus for coming up with the idea to charge on an overseas transaction in AUD.

    From the modern era I'd say it's comparable to the Pathfinder, Pillars Of Eternity, Tyranny, or Divinity Original Sin series of computer role playing games.
