Price in title please. I'm quite partial to bourbon but I'm not sure this is much of a deal, especially when you add the additional $10 for shipping. 180ml for pretty much $50.

Yeah, I jumped on the website, love trying new things, but it's IMO a bit of a fizzer. Would rather pay a bit more and have the thrill of opening and pouring from a full sized bottle with the latent excitement of trying 2 more down the track (or a story to tell about how bad it was), or get out to a bar and try three new and different things for not too much more.

$39.50 plus $10 postage for what is essentially 3 shots of bourbon?
Sounds like pub prices, if not more

So pretty much 6 shots for $50 and it's normally $80? Yeah nah.

  • How about no.

@Liquor-Loot try to get a very good deals, you can search here with keyword whisky and check which deals has lots + feedback, then go in to read whats on offer and how much. you sure can get some idea as you are in the same business.
if those prices are too low for you then well, bye….

    • Exactly, wasting time and hurting your brand putting this up.

Sounds like an absolutely awful deal. $40 for 1/4 bottle of bourbon?

  • Das amazin!

  • Love that Elijah Craig Small Batch.

  • So essentially paying $194/700mL equivalent for the convenience of trying 3 x $80-90 bottles. No deal.

I subscribe to these guys and receive something similar to what is posted in here every month.
    I like it because:
    - I get to try 3x different whisky's every month
    - There is a video for each of the whiskys with some bloke explaining the process of how its made, the history behind the whisky, tasting notes, etc etc.
    - I'm not committing to a full bottle at $100+. If I really like one of the whiskys I receive that month I can buy a full bottle from their website or a different retailer.

I was previously subscribed to The Whiskey Club, where they send a full bottle out at ~$130 a month. Its hit and miss, I'm stuck with a couple of expensive bottles that I don't like.
This is half the price. Yes it is expensive if comparing to buying a full bottle, but for the education/experience its worth it imo.
