Uber light, 650 loft
Vs the OzB popular Halo 600 liftDoes it make much difference?
You can't directly compare those numbers, because fill power is the loft per gram of down. You can get a rough idea by multiplying the fill power by the fill weight.
Comparing this one (650 FP, 73g fill weight) to the Halo (600 FP, 205g) - the Halo will be more than twice as warm. You can tell from how much more puffy the Halo looks, while the Uber Light is very thin and designed with light fabrics to minimise weight.
This is why the Uber Light is described as an emergency packable midlayer for hiking, while the Halo is more of an outer layer for around town.

All the appearance of a down jacket without any of the warmth. Do not recommend. Bought one once and immediately sold it on as its genuinely terrible.
Buy a skivvy, or if you actually want to be warm a better puffer.
Wore once n feather already come out everywhere. Macpac Uber Light Down is much better - much lighter, same or slightly warmer.
The actual colour of this Kathmandu jacket doesn't look that bad as in their product pictures.
