The Osmer Steel bodied Auto Load Utility Knife / Cutter UC2600 is a heavy duty knife (this thing is a proper lump, weighing approx 270g) capable of handling any cutting and trimming job, from light use around the house to the rough and tumble of the shed, workshop or warehouse.

    The amazon basics one is $14.90 next day delivery would be a fairer comparison and to be fair has 5 replacement blades only. Blades are anywhere from 30c to $1 ea depending on quality

  This utility knife, rep has posted it at least 8 times before according to post history, and this seems as if it's the most expensive opportunity to purchase.

    Yep I bought one that looks exactly the same as this years ago but can't remember where I bought it. The blade would just slip out which rendered it useless. Went back to the good old Stanley Knife… $9.85 @ Bunnings.

    Thanks rep. Accept everything you're saying. Wasn't trying to be a knob, it just happened to be the one other listing I clicked on. Sounds like it's worth it. My head was on the Total Tool ones that were $5 a piece on sale. They are really good. I agree it's very possible the Office Shoppe version is worth the extra $12 though. Quality costs and I haven't tried the 2 myself, for the record.

  I purchased a lot of items from office shoppe like this & I've posted just how good the items are like this utility knife & pens ,makers etc there my go to store for all my office items now I don't bother with O,W etc .

  I was sucked in one of the previous times it was posted. The auto reload works maybe 10% of the time. The whole blade comes out quite often too.
  Went back to Stanley fat max.
