Roborock Q Revo Vacuum Cleaner & Empty Wash Dock - White $1,899.04 Delivered @ eBay MobileCiti

TOPBRANDSAUG

Stunned and disappointed with the Roborock Q Revo's steep AU$1999 AUD MSRP. Though there's a small consolation - a $100 discount code for those keen on the product. Still, it's a hefty price when you consider what the Singaporeans or the US residents pay.

  • Is it really worth it that much $$$$ ?

    • +1

Sadly at 1900$ it is still the cheapest mop+dustbag combo unit, so yeah

  • Stunned and disappointed

Same :( was really hoping for $1400 on this one

    • +1

I was expecting 1500 after Australian tax + "Australian tax" but it seems like I was wrong

  • But its still cheaper rhan the S8 ultra isnt it?

How would this compare to the S7 maxV ultra? I have this perception that the spin mop cleans better.

    • How would this compare to the S7 maxV ultra?

Its about the same is the answer after reading all of the reviews.

It really depends on the price and remember you need to buy the heating element for the s7

I have this perception that the spin mop cleans better.

It cleans about the same is what reviews show.

      • Thankyou for the update. To be honest unless you live in a humid environment the mop dries just fine by itself.

        • Its mostly to reduce odours/smell.

          Quicker drying mop is better.

  • +1

Yes disappointing pricing indeed, as with their other products. This is seems quite comparable & at a much better price: https://www.jbhifi.com.au/products/eufy-robovac-x9-pro-with-…

    • +1

Not comparable as for some god forsaken reason the x9 pro doesnt have a dust bin which IMO is needed.

  • Ahhh, thought would buy Q Revo on launch but this price is terrible!! What do people reckon, buy at $1900 or wait for it to drop? Can't wait more than a month, already been waiting 6!

    • +1

Wait. It's crazy . This was meant to be the lesser expensive model.

Also the new rotating hasn't stood home test of time. $1200-$1300 I'm in

      • +1

Sounds good thanks, if I get desperate probably better to just go for the proven S7 Ultra

  • Disappointed with the price but got it after months of research and wait. Better than the S8 Pro Ultra. Similar to the S7 Maxv Pro Ultra but comes with few advantages:

    Mop dryer
    Uses more water for mopping
    Easy to clean dock

Wont be surpised if these go out of stock quickly.

The S7 maxv pro ultra is now discontinued so not worth taking a risk buying from unofficial Roborck retailers.

This is regularly selling for AUD $1,100 in Singapore.

We are getting ripped off in Australia

I fly there frequently so tempting to buy from there and fly it in.

Anyone know how much custom duty I would need to pay? Thanks

    • whereabouts in SG is this $1,100? You'd get a GST-refund woudln't you?

      • +1

On Shoppee…. They have regular discounts… at the moment it’s 1,200 SGD but few weeks ago it was $1,050. S8 ultra Pro was $1,400 SGD.

Yes I will get 8% GST refund in SG. I just want to check how much customs I need to pay here.

The other thing to note that I don’t think Roborock offers global warranty.

Note that you need to carry the actual robot in hand luggage due to lithium batteries and rest can come in handle with care stuff.

        • +1

How much luggage you got? Care to spread the love around :D

  • +2

Ooooh man I was hoping this would be around $1400 AUD RRP with some great deals making it even lower. Can’t believe the RRP is 2K :(

Thanks for posting though Julius, I’ve been so keen for this, checking almost every day to see if it’s come to Australia yet.

Almost worth flying to Singapore and buying one there- at least we'd get a holiday too!

  • +1

That’s ridiculous pricing and a rip off. Boycott:)

  • Jesus are they mad?

  • +1

How would one import from US or Singapore?

    • I travel to Singapore almost monthly….

I will buy and get it delivered to my friends house..

Post that, I will just put the actual robot in my hand luggage as it has lithium batteries…. And the rest will go with handle with care…

I will pay custom in Australia …

If you buy online… with shipping and stuff…. It will be same as here so no point

  • Yep same here 1200-1500 would be the sweet spot.
Reviews very well, provided you keep a tidy house :)

My second choice would be this with similar specs
    Ecovacs deebot T2 Omni
    https://youtu.be/3NS36o9KyBM

Also vacuum wars amazing channel and reviews.

  • Only 1 brush? Very minor but wouldn't this need to cover more space vs 2 brushes?

    • At this price…better get the S8 ultra pro

    • Reviews are that the side brush doesn't having a second beush doesn't actually help vs just a good side brush

  • Disappointed with the pricing for the product. I'm looking at the T20 omni at this price point. Devastated I just missed out on the s8 costco deal.
T20 Omni $1699 on Bing Lee ebay store with coupon code.

  • Already have an ecovacs and can save points for 30% off a T20 Omni.. which for $1260 seems like a way better deal. Disappointing.

    • can you please explain the 30% off?

      • +1

Sure, I bought an Ecovacs Deebot N8 and they have a points system. 5000 for signing up, 50 for checking in daily on the app, etc.

You can use these points to get up to 30% off any product on their store. One day a month there is a sale on accessories and a different day your points are worth double. 100 Points is worth $1 ($2 on that double day)

        Save up 26985 points and you can get that full 30%. ($1799 * 0.3 = $539.7 = 53970 points = 26985 points on double day)

Roborock Q Revo is $1,661.43 @ JB Commercial.

    • That sounds alright, how do you access JB commercial?

      • Through a Corporate Benefits Program eg. work or some other membership.

Payment can only be made by debit/credit card. No gift cards or other means.

      • I have access to JB Commercial and the Revo shows as $1845

        • Just checked my access and it's showing $1,661.43 too. Maybe different levels of discount for different access levels.

          • @Chuppa: Awesome! Turns out I had access via superfund, grabbed one, thanks a lot Chuppa! Probably they'll drop to $1400 next week lol but as long as mine doesn't have any quality issues I'll be good :D

            • +1

@wcloud: It's the reason I'm still holding off… plus I have a heap in JB vouchers I'd prefer to use. My trusty Roborock S5 can keep going another day…

      • Some super funds give you access. ART is one of those.

        • Just setup an account at ART and it gives me $1,661.43 inc GST now!

          • @jellway: How did you gain access through ART? I can't see an option
EDIT: Duh. I see it under Rewards.

      • If you download the MyToyota app and register (I used a rego for a car I used to own) you get access. As per the posts below the discount seems to vary. I am seeing $1722.80 + $15 delivery

        • Yeah strange mine was $1661 + 15 delivery as per Chuppas report. Accessed through ART which is sunsuper/q super rewards scheme

          • @wcloud: I just got access to a JB Business account and it is $1677.78 ex GST there ($1845 inc) …so more than the Toyota method with GST hahahaha

    • how does one obtain a JB commercial account with status to get this price

      • Check your Super account benefits.

      • +2

Sign up to ART Super, it's free. I put in false info and my burner email. Activate from the email link, then click Rewards.

        • absolute legend, that was strangely simple

  • It’s on sale for SGD 1,100 in Singapore. We are getting ripped off

  • +1

Yea we're all collectively slamming them on FB at least, it's been quite entertaining :)

  • They may have launched high so they’ve covered their backsides when they start discounting at x% off. The Trade Practices Act is a funny thing.

  • This or the L10s Ultra if can get both for similar price?

  • There's 1 left at $1849 with an additional $100 off (HGTAUG) plus $12 postage https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/115887947636
