  • y no class 4 deals?

    • Hi wildstone,

We do not stock that much of the class 4 range these days, we do have stock but the stock are limited and margin wise are low so we didn't thought of adding into the list.

Which class 4 card are you after?

  • SanDisk 32GB Ultra Micro SD Class 10 - $27.95
    Bugger… 21 Aug I paid $29.50

      Hi empengpro,

Memory cards are like commodities, the price fluctuates due to many reasons.
Some time the price may go up, some time down fall.
I believe due to the court case that Samsung was lost to Apple caused the demand to slow down hence the price drop & over supply.
We still have about 200pcs of each 16-64gb class 10 range.

  • Good to see the 64GB Ultra Micro SD price back down to $64.95 :)

      Hi Jonaseymour,

With this price it won't stay long, the demand is still high for 64GB micro sd especially with the big volume of Samsung Galaxy S3 sold in the market.

      • good timing, just bought a SGS3 and need a 64GB micro sd card :)

      • Does anyone know that the bigger a memory card , the more power consumption ( meaning battery drain out quicker ) ?

        • The difference is extremely miniscule. There are bigger factors that affect the power consumption than size by itself such as the brand and speed of the card.

  • Do you have that extreme pro 16gb micro sd card?

  • can u do a better deal for the class 4 32gb sandisk micro sd?

  • Do you have anything in between the extreme and the mini in USB's. AKA with a decent read/write speed (looking at 32GB).

    • Hi sparky13,

Unfortunately, there's nothing in the mini series with decent read/write speed.
The best one would be the Extreme USB 3.0 series, or the Ultra 15MB/s series.

      • Not really needing anything in the mini series, just something with decent USB 2.0 write/read speeds. And 32GB. Can't justify the $46 for the extreme when I don't have USB 3.0 yet (and storage prices as always are forever dropping).

        • Hi Sparky13,

Nothing really decent in the usb2.0 range except Ultra CZ45, but they are not as "mini" as the Cruzer Fit on specials.
There is a new model CZ53 Cruzer Pop which is also under the mini range but the prices are higher than the cruzer fit.
I recommend you to go for the cruzer fit range if you are after mini usb 2.0

        • I don't need a mini at all :) Will have a look at the ones you mentioned.

  • @Francesca,

      • @Francesca,

          Noted George

        • Hi Francesca,

Sorry, but I made a mistake in my message, & gave You the WRONG telephone number (I had that line disconnected last month).

I have now sent u a new message with the correct telephone number.
Btw, order 5299 has my correct telephone number & details

I look forward to your update re availability & delivery.

          Thank You Very Much,

          Best Regards,

  • I am after the 64GB microsd, but have been hesitant (despite the awesome price!) due to reports of bad batches of 16 and 32gb cl 10 cards. I did ask a question about the reliability of these cards in a recent similar deal but got no response. From memory (lol) it was a shopping square post.

Rep, have you had many, or for that matter, any recalls or warranty claims on the 64gb cards?

      Hi highon2str,

I ll be frank to you on this, we received quite a numbers of faulty 64gb micro sd from few batch before this.
The failure rate has dropped to less than 3% for the last promo we had so i guess SanDisk has fixed the issue.

  • Any chance of repeating (or beating :) the pricing of the Ultra SDHC Class 10 cards from the previous deal? They were a little cheaper than the Extreme HD Video line currently is.

  • Any chance of the 16gb SD cards going at the previous deal prices?

    • Hi ozAzn,

Yes i can still do the same price.
I will update price on the site shortly.

      • Hi Francesca,

Just wondering how long it will take? Because i'm in desperate need of a cheap SD card that won't blow my budget ;) I still see 18.95 for that SD card.

  • could someone please confirm
can the S3 handle this card
    SanDisk 64GB Ultra Micro SD Class 10 - $64.95

and can the Desire HD handle this card
    SanDisk 32GB Ultra Micro SD Class 10 - $27.95

  • Can anyone vouch for the genuineness of their memory cards?

  • Been hanging out for this. Thanks, Franscesca! My first purchase from MemoryCity :) Got myself a 32GB Extreme for my camera and a 64GB Ultra for my phone.

Did SanDisk change their naming conventions by the way? The SD card I have in my camera at the moment is a 16GB Extreme but rated at only 30MB/s whereas the "Extreme" range appears to be rated at 45MB/s now with the 30MB/s cards being labelled as "Ultra". Confusing? Haha.

  • Thanks! Bought a SANDISK EXTREME HD VIDEO SD 32GB card. Will go well with the D3200 I picked up from Kogan today! Good price!

  • Hey, the price for the 16GB MicroSD is $13.95 but your post says..
    SanDisk 16GB Ultra Micro SD Class 10 - $13.50

Is that a system error? =D

  • Is SanDisk 32GB Extreme HD Video SDHC Class 10 out of stock?

    • Hi,

Sold off our existing 50pcs of stock.
We have incoming stock on this Friday however the price is $2 higher.
It will be $34.95 if anyone of you needs it.

  • no depreciation for my ($12)card, bought http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/76924#comment-982921 10/08/2012 - 18:25 ¶ 1 months ago, check http://camelcamelcamel.com/SanDisk-MicroSDHC-Speed-MicroSD-A....

..+lovin' the 19mbs read speed, of course. Pretty good.

    • everyone knows its all about the write speed….

    • 5mbs suits the receive rate for data from a cablenet\wi-fi connection very nice;

so can empty my tablet contents (30GB) to Desktop storage inside .5hr Great.

      • i dont know bout other users, but i often xfer video files which are often large - the difference between 4MB/s and 10MB/s (minimum class speeds) for a 1GB file is:
        * Class 4 - 256sec or 4.26min
        * Class 10 - 102sec or 1.7min

Most times i will be transferring bulk files over - so in the example of a 32gb card, this becomes:
        * Class 4 - 8192sec or 136min or 2.27hours
        * Class 10 - 3276sec or 54min or 0.91hours

        • We are basically talking about non-interactive xfer: By the time it becomes an issue, USB 3.0 will have that interval for 10GB videos down to sub 2min. For our regular, 720p stuff, [email protected]~18GBph (verified) will endure reasonably.

  • Loving my 64gb Extreme USB3 from the previous deal. Nice and fast and looks great too. If I didn't have so many thumb drives I'd pick up more lol.

  • Those SanDisk 3 Cruzer Fit USB Flash drives are PERFECT for car audio systems - they barely stick out at all. I've still got no idea how they manage to fit 32Gb onto a USB stick that small though!

  • SanDisk 32GB Ultra Micro SD Class 10 - $29.95 is what I really need now

  • Francesca, I placed an order with the previous offer (23/08/12) but I have still not received my order yet. I emailed 2 days ago with no reply and I have emailed again today. I also tried calling the contact number on your webpage without any answer. I'd like to sort this out. Thank you.

    • Update, the order was incorrectly delivered to a neighbour. I'm happily in possession of my order now :)

  • Francesca I just got mine today however it tells me I need to format it, but formatting doesn't seem to work there is no progress and then tells me "Windows was unable to complete the format". I believe the microsd card is a dodgy one is there anyway I could receive a replacement?

    • Eek what capacity did you get? It's the horror stories like these that out me off buying SanDisk cards. When I buy a memory card I shouldn't have to worry if it is going to work straight up, or when/if it is going to fail at some point in future. :(

  • Hi everyone,

Some orders might be updated late this morning due to a system error on our website.
Orders were all shipped on Friday - status has been updated but the update did not go through.
So I re-did it this morning.
We apologize for the delay in status updates.
Everyone should have their orders by this week.

    • Do you not have tracking on orders? will it need a signature on delivery?

      • Hi,

Some orders have tracking and some do not.
Tracking numbers have been updated onto the system and customers should receive an email with the tracking details.

  • Hi all,

Im really suss about my Sandisk extreme USB 3.0 Flash drive being genuine or not…

so the box looked ok, but no hologram or anything specifying it's genuineness. I hope this is normal for everyone else…

and when i opened it there was just my USB (sealed in plastic) and NOTHING ELSE?? No warranty papers, specifications, nothing…. should i be worried or am i over reaction??

  • Please can I get a response to my problem, also I have emailed you guys but have not received a reply and its been 3-4 days already
