    • Samsung Micro SDHC 32GB Class 10 24MB/s SD Adapter @ $25.95 Rep is this likely to come back any time soon?

  • Link is to Class 4?

    • +1

      Class 10 link is here
      http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/230778580475

(as listed in the details above)

      • OK, Class 4 was in main link

    • the link in post area is the one to class 10

      Edit: beaten to it!

  • Its 26.95 on ebay, not 25.95 as per post?

    • -5

      lol….

      • +1

hey whats to lol? A buck is a buck.. Its the OZB way!

        • +1

Relax puffy cheeks! Why not explain yourself in the post rather than posting a frivolous comment anyway?

        • -8

nah don't need to, just like negging posts I don't understand.LOL

    • +12

opps, that's typo in the title. I marked down the link to lower price $25.95 (Another $100 lost…)

whoever bought it at $26.95 can message me via OZB, I will credit back $1 in your shoppingsqure account.

      • +1

        Good Guy Dan?

      • I think what you meant to say was another $100 SAVED.

      • Thanks Dan, managed to pick up a 32G for $25.95 very good price for a class 10!

  • +14

Hi, can you please address these concerns at the bottom of this deal
(http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/76089)in regards to possible counterfeit SD cards being supplied from Shopping Square?

    Thanks

    • +6

Strange how the rep becomes mute once this is mentioned… again.

      • +2

Rep please respond, even if its "no comment."

        • +3

Maybe they should be banned from posting any more deals until they address this issue?

Ignoring it won't make it go away.

  • Rep: I can't see sandisk microSD 32gb for $15.95.

  • Niceeeee, just recently got the 16gb Galaxy tab, so this comes handyyy!! Nice price too!

  • Pardon my ignorance…. Is 32GB the highest capacity card I can use with my 16GB S3? I am so tempted to get the class 10 one advertised here.

    • +3
      • Thanks. Would you also know if there is a major difference between the samsung advertised here and a sandisk 32GB class 10?

        • Doesn't matter. Got this samsung. Thanks rep. Good deal.

    • +2

No, 64GB is at the moment the largest capacity that you could use with S3.

Does anyone know if class 10 would make a difference if I were to use it in a tablet?

      • Incompatibilities with Sandisk 64gb class 10 cards have been reported with some phones/tablets. I think it's a bad batch of cards.

I think the only noticeable difference would be copying files to the tab from your computer, as class 10 will guarantee you 10mb/s write speed.

    • +1

      u tried b4?

    • +1

nooo wayyyyyyyyyyy, $10 cheaper!! must be fake!

    • +3

don't count on it being genuine or reliable

      • +4

nor this one too, till the rep replies

        • -1

If it was a fake, I dont think the rep would advertise it on ozbargain

        • There were questionable products a while ago, but they've fixed and polished up their reputation now. We're just asking for a response from their rep.

    • Rep has shared in the other thread that all their Sandisk cards are officially offered by Sandisk.

I have watched that $15 c 10 Samsung sell on eBay but have also judged that risk is too great. Even if not a fake, I don't believe "Random 4K = 0.798 MB/s" would give the very best of performance inside my tablet.

From francesca2148's sale of Sandisk, she was supplying 32gb/c 4 at $19.90, and checking Camel(x3) these hit the floor at USD12.89 on Aug 07.

danilochan at $15.90 has stock priced in the middle which I can't see being beaten anywhere, so I think I'll just get this through Apus SS.

      Cheers to Mr. Chan.

  • any special for the SanDisk Extreme 16GB SD?

    • -1

It's cheap over at memorycity.com.au but the freeshipping coupon (FREESHIP) isn't currently working :(

  • Rep, both includes SD card adapter?

    • From the looks of it, only the Samsung comes with adapter and retail packaging. Where as the Sandisk seems to come as OEM packaging and no adapter

      • Damn bought 2 SanDisk….now need to look for 2 SD card adapters…..

  • -5

Just got the Samsung MicroSD, perfect for my new Asus TF300T which I got for about $309 from TGG (using $180 Aust Post Gift Cards) and including a $50 gift card redemption from TGG again.

  • just got the cheap 32gb for my ainol tablet… so ozb ;)
btw the 16gb cheapie comes with adaptor.

  • just bought one of these 'SanDisk Mobile ULTRA Class 10 Micro SDHC' cards after being cheated 3 weeks ago on ebay by one stupid fraudulent seller. Still in process in paypal for the fraud.

  • Cheers, bought a 8gb Class 10 for my Raspberry Pi :)

  • Hope the samsung works in my S3 and DSTwo.

  • why didnt you post the deal earlier? i need another 16-32gb for the liquid image snow goggle arrived today for the trip on saturday. now the only option is to take out the 16gb from my contour and insert it into liquid image.

  • Q: Danilochan - Have you run $15.95card through CrystalMark?

Here is what others found, according to Stumo's index.

      #4K_R/W
      Sandisk 32GB 4 3.241 1.752 Q211/USB/OP
      Sandisk 32GB 4 2.888 1.663 Q211/USB/Hansel
      Sandisk 32GB 4 2.747 1.471 Q211/USB/Zadax
      #Sequential_R/W
      Sandisk 32GB 4 20.05 6.17 Q211/USB/Hansel
      Sandisk 32GB 4 19.94 6.02 Q211/USB/Zadax
      Sandisk 32GB 4 19.29 6.00 Q211/USB/OP

This suggest it will deliver most of the performance of its class 10 counterpart, but take over one hour to write a card. Blergh… not very fast.

    Comparing with my 1yo Class 4 16GB,

        2.928 MB/s .. 1.410 MB/s and

       20.073 MB/s .. 4.478 MB/s.

I could fill that card in < 1hour.

So with the 32 will not feel much extra speed. :( However, being 50c/GB this offer is tempting. Still I can only speculate what true speed 2012-released may prove to be. Can you pass relevant model no.?

  • +3

So the only thing stopping me from buying some cards now is that the rep has gone missing ever since someone mentioned fake cards…. o_-

    • +2

Not exactly confidence buiding behaviour is it…

You'd think that if there was no issue or problem, it'd be easy enough to state as much but this silence on the issue is quite concerning.

      • +3

That's why you pay with Paypal.

        • Still not worth the hassle of buying a fake card, having to dispute it, send the item back and get the refund. That could take weeks.

  • +1

    Just bought a card - Thanks! :)

  • Has anyone received it and confirmed real? I've been stung with fakes which underperform before and really cbf. May only cost $15 but if I spend half an hour testing it and then having to spend time to walk to Aus Post, etc… not worth it.

    • In another post here - http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/77033#comment-982485 - the rep finally addresses the issue yet somehow I remain unconvinced.

16GB micro class 4 cards come on sale fairly regularly from memorycity.com.au for under $10 with free shipping, if that's what you're after just wait a bit and you should be able to score one of those.

  • tq SS, got my samsung micro sd in the mail today, very happy

the sd adapter works in my computer unlike the sandisk ones, awesome.

    • If your 'Sandisk' adapter was a loose freebie, peel off the sticker and you'll see the horrible truth …
