    • $2.60 at my Woolworths for some reason

      • Ah yeah, I'm in a can deposit state.

  • Half price at woolies.

  • How much do the 750ml ones go for? Can't find on camelcamelcamel.

    • they have been out of stock for 1 month now, last time I paid $23.85 for a 12 pack

      • Yeah I bought 2x12 at that price. I just bought 6 of these (max) = $36, had to spend extra $3 on random stuff to get shipping :/

    Bundaberg is better

    • +1

      much, much better

    • Was wondering this. Thanks!

    • +7

I would say thats subjective. Bundaberg is a sugar explosion and really takes away from 'ginger beer' sometimes.

Saxby is more ginger beeresque and tastes alot less sugary with a very subtle ginger punch.

Both good in their own ways. Id try it if you like ginger beer and havent tried it before.

      • +1

That's what I think too, for me, Saxby's is to Bundaberg as Coke is to Pepsi.

  • Anyone know which diet sugar version of ginger has less sugar - Saxby’s or Bundaberg?

    • +3

      saxbys

      • +1

Saxbys also has no aspartame so win win

        • +2

          brain dead

          • @abjsdhasehasee: yeah thats often the result of consuming a lot of aspartame

            • +2

@Gdsamp: yep, those rats with the 200x human megadose directly into their brains got brain damage, wonder why that happened.

would you like to actually explain your hatred for aspartame or?? just some facebook post taught you?

        • +2

Saxbys also has no aspartame so win win

          It has cyclamates instead…

Cyclamates are banned in the US due to health concerns.

              Please see your doctor….

          • @jv:

            due to health concerns

mfw in vitro studies from 50 years ago say sodium cyclamate bad, but ignores all up to date and new research.

mfw people say FDA is trying to kill you and that the EU has better food safety laws, but sodium cyclamate is approved literally everywhere BUT the US, choose a side.

            • @abjsdhasehasee:

              choose a side.

I don't want to take the risk.

              • @jv: me either, thats why I dont use electronic devices to limit myself from the harmful radiofrequency electromagnetic fields, it might harm, i just send letters in

                • +2

                  Same…

                  My PC runs on steam.

                  Good for gaming.

          • @jv: Saxbys has alcohol so that cancels out the cyclamates. :)

saxbys by a mile, bundaberg diet is still very high in sugar

      • is bundaberg diet just reduced sugar?

      • saxbys by a mile

        5km to 20km…

      • bundaberg diet is still very high in sugar

        Is 1.2 % high?

      • Saxby's also contains cyclamates and Neotame

cyclamates are banned in the US.

        • Oh thanks a lot, now I'm actually mildly concerned. The US banning something makes one take notice.

          • @Bdawg:

Their health authority is stricter than ours.

            • +2

@jv: Ok, it seems it was banned almost everywhere due to a study in the 60s that caused cancer in rats. Newer studies were not able to replicate it and most countries lifted their ban except for the USA and South Korea.

          • @Bdawg: in thes 60s lul, and its not banned in the supposedly superior eu (myth)

        • Oh no, with this information I will never enjoy this drink without guilt anymore. 😭

      • +1

much prefer taste of saxbys diet vs bundaberg diet too. I find the non diet just tastes way too sweet for both.

    • +1

Brewing process requires sugar so Bundy is higher.

  • Thanks OP. Was waiting too!

  • Good deal for Kerry….

  • +2

Thanks for that. Doesn't come on sale often and wanted the diet as I feel it tastes better. Got myself a few packs. Should last me a year

    • A year? Mine will last me a month, two tops. I bought 6 haha,

    • Check out Buderim Ginger Refresher Cordial No Sugar
