  • Any one use eufy and works well with Google home equipment

  • I’m returning my eufy s40 from prime day, not sure if this model is better? Seriously buggy app and firmware, support is useless and slow. I’m trying reolink next.

Does anyone know if I can add cams to this home base kit and which one they are?

Need a camera system for my home and really keen on this one so any help is appreciated:)

Edit: if someone can provide a link to the extra camera which would work with this system that would be top notch

    • I second the comment above. Application is slow, takes ages to connect to the cameras. My eufy homebase, wifi router and echo show are all within a one meter radius and half of the times the homebase fails to connect to echo show and other times it takes more than a minute.

      • Thanks for the reply, so you think paying an extra couple hundred $$ is worth it? Just need a half decent system around the house (driveway, backyard and garage door) but would prefer not a shitty system

Wire-free cameras are all shitty in a sense, and I say that as someone who still uses them and believes they're a technological marvel. Thing is they've really nailed it in terms of consumer appeal - not just the installation ease aspect but in the marketing, retail presence, app friendliness, etc. With wired it's harder to know where to start and you can end up down a crazy rabbit hole, but if you're a home owner and can get through the hassle and expense of setup, wired cameras are pure luxury by comparison - having continuous, live visibilty instead of being dependent on laggy app-based viewing, superior visual quality, more flexible software and greater autonomy.

The 4 camera set is also on sale and seems to be a better deal for $998 at Amazon and Bunnings
