I was going to buy 100 of each but then realised what the hell am I going to do with them all and decided against it.

      A swing for the boys.

      Make a quilt

If you buy 10,000 of them for $100, you get free shipping, so you save another $9.95!

    • You can use it for up coming drake concerts. Maybe you can be famous too!

10 dollar delivery does not make it worth it

Cloth masks are, as a general rule, not very useful. They offer little protection straight out of the packet, and get worse as they are reused. I said the following a while back on a deal for some low-grade disposable face masks, but it applies with greater strength to cloth masks:

If you are regularly wearing a mask at this point in the pandemic, either you are in a working environment which requires high-level protection, or you are choosing to wear a mask to minimise risks to yourself and/or others. If so, look around and get a decent mask that meets a high standard – not any old thing like this.

I agree with the suggestion to use these to make a quilt. That would probably be a more suitable use for them.

    • Spring is coming. They're probably fine for those dealing with hayfever.

Also good for cyclists (pedal/e/motor) on busy roads to keep your face/nose clean.

      • +2

They're just OK for hayfever and pollution. An N95 mask is way more effective - cloth lets through lots of particles

        • … not to mention viruses πŸ˜‰

      • -1

Those with hayfever β€” present company included β€” are better off being exposed to β€” i.e. consuming β€” raw unprocessed local honey (to build tolerance).

I'm going to see a whole bunch of actual science to back that up. My GP sure as hell didn't recommend eating any kind of hunny.

Face masks should be bundled with motorbike ashtrays to create a killer combo of safety and effectiveness.

  • -1

Probably a price error that won’t be honoured.

    • +5

Not necessarily. They're getting rid of unwanted stock while gaining website traffic and email addresses. I'd never heard of them 20 minutes ago.

Don't forget to activate your Cashback on this one. :)

    • why do you consider them garbage?

@seamonkey: Just go live your life ffs !…it's not that simple when -
Excess mortality rates now exceed that experienced during peek covid times in highly jabbed and locked down countries.
The last 3 years 'circle jerk' - masks, lockdowns, jabs - has resulted in more lives lost and damage done than by the killer virus we needed protection from.
Let's take account of what happened (and still happening) and let's not do that again eh?!

              • @seamonkey: You're also entitled to your opinion. My info is from the all cause mortality rate, pre-covid, 5 year average vs recent rate, for western highly jabbed countries (not just oz).

          • -2

@seamonkey: You're from Melbourne. Ok, I get it now.
Sorry for your loss. I genuinely do.

Stockholm syndrome is a very powerful thing, almost as powerful as mass formation.

Good luck in the years ahead… you're gonna need it!

              • -1

@seamonkey: Ok. Will do but only if you promise me to also make sure you're "up to date".
Apparently C19 is very dangerous for those who are "not young"…

Is that the 6th jab now or are we on the 7th already?

Also, I am happy to wager you'll be voting yes in the upcoming referendum and strongly feel that "trans rights are human rights".
You also support Ukraine and their brave President in their fight against the "Russian invaders".

How's my strike rate? Pretty accurate?

                  • -1

@seamonkey: I am genuinely sorry to hear that 😞

I guess you never heard about this fella called Einstein and his definition of insanity… Or the Darwin award.

        • you can only post stuff like this if you exist terminally online

        • By the 'real' one, you mean the one you choose to believe because it suits your political beliefs.
You choose to believe Simone Gold, a noted anti vaxxer, attendee of the Jan 6 insurrection and believer of many other disproven conspiracy theories because that's the side of politics you favour (although I imagine it must be hard for you when you hear Trump say that the covid vaccine works and is effective)

@colblair: Another Victim of the world's longest lockdown…and most criminal CHO (recently departed).

What is it with you Melbourne people? Do you genuinely not see or are you simply too traumatised and this is some kind of a defence mechanism?

                @seamonkey:

your state is an embarrassing shit show

LMAO. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black.
                https://www.macrobusiness.com.au/2023/05/victorians-choke-on…

                Meanwhile in QLD:
                https://www.grantthornton.com.au/insights/client-alerts/qld-…

Do you genuinely believe in what you said or is it some kind of a coping mechanism?

Pallashit is a corrupt psychopath just like Andrews and they will both see their day in court but a Victorian calling Queensland (where most of the migrants from your hell hole of a state are going to) a shit show is a bit rich.

We have Dreamworld and it's tacky and lame but at least it's not the CSIRO Bendigo facility or the giant Moderna mRNA factory being built in your neck of the woods.

Victoria is the California of Australia…and the CBD of your capital is quickly starting to look like downtown San Francisco.

Maybe the only solution is really a separation with VIC and WA going their merry ways
Apparently Andrews is already negotiating with Xi on terms…

Alternatively, maybe we can hand you over to the "voice" as their ancestral home and be done with it…and save the taxpayer the hassle of having to waste time on a Saturday on 'voting' in a 'referendum' and eating crap snags

                Everyone's happy πŸ‘

@ginmi: aint covid like 10 times smaller than spermcell or somethung ?

@capslock janitor: Yep…but sheep will be sheep.

The next few years are going to be VERY rough for them.

As unfortunate as it is, we cannot save everyone…πŸ˜”

  • +1

That's all face masks are worth anyway

  • The question is expired?

  • Order cancelled

  • =\ they only sent me part of my order.

    • Did they send you 1c masks?
