How Long It Takes NSW Land Registry Finish a Duplex Title Reg?

Hi all

I just wonder if 8weeks is still within acceptable or expected time frame for NSW Land Registry to complete a duplex sub-division registry. It's been a long and tedious waiting period. Does someone here submitted similar case with them and how long is your waiting period?

If you know some factors that affect their processing times, also glad to have some info shared. Cheers!

Has it actually been lodged with LRS? 8 weeks sounds like to time to get the final plan, get it signed off by council, then get it lodged, etc.

Once it is actually lodged with LRS, it would usually only take a week or so to register. Delays may come if you get requisitioned (ie. they find an issue with something) such as the plan of subdivision, which then has to go back to the surveyor to be amended/corrected.

Does this mean council has already signed-off: https://ibb.co/mRsFqwP (latest date here is 6th May), or is there another procedure to be done before get it lodged with NSW LR? In my case, this 6th May is well before (3months earlier) than the final OC issue date.

      (not my actual property)
