That’s a heck of a lot of stores with no stock.

    • +1

They're (almost) all just one in stock too. Almost certain you won't find them in stock!

(but they're going to be crap so don't bother anyway)

    • How this come up here if there is not much stock anywhere…

      • There only needs to be 10 in stock for it to be a valid deal.

      Thanks mate!

…did you read the 5 negative 1 star reviews before posting?

…its junk, like this one & this is probably the worst 'steal' of the year…congratulations!

Cheaper than a hair dryer, so bought one for the wife. :)

1200/2400W .. so it's basically the same as the little plastic indoor heater you can buy from Kmart, but styled to look like something industrial. No way is this going to warm an uninsulated (or poorly insulated) workshop.

reviews said it was worse than their plastic kmart heaters. basically blowing 'cool' air…lol!

  • +1

Waste of money if you are part of the target market. It won’t heat a workshop, if the cold has got you that bad but one of those heated jackets or something. These things should be banned just because of the power they waste.

Probably stock control errors. This shit product likely doesn't exist anywhere.

    • Unlikely in all cases: 12 showing at a Brisbane store.
      Understandable with todays temp 26C🌞

  • These "industrial" heaters have a different element. They take a good few minutes to get to full temp. I thought mine was broken when I got it too. They actually throw out a lot of heat. I put mine to fan only for 5 minutes before turning it off as a thick heater element holds a lot of energy (hence why it takes a while to warm up). These are good because the thicker elements (rather than thin wire) are much stronger if you drop them while running. And plastic case is s much stronger than made for landfill plastic ones. They are still only 2400W like the plastic boxes because that is the maximum you can run off a standard power supply. Will it heat a shed? Well it definitely warms my double garage over time, making it more acceptable to work there. Is it wasted energy? Entropy happens everywhere and 2400W per hour is 2400W per hour regardless of building insulation levels. So in short "industrial" means it takes more hits than the average plastic kmart box that smash when I look at them! My 2 cents, these are better for the environment because I dont kill them all the time like a plastic box. Wait a couple of minutes and it will cook for pinkies just fine.

  • Amazing! bought 2! thanks!
