[SUBS] Overwatch 2: New Heroes Starter Pack for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Subscribers

400

Starter pack to unlock all 6 heroes (including the new hero that's out today) released so far for Overwatch 2 + some skins/cosmetics.

Fineprint says "Requires Overwatch 2. Valid only for Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One console versions of the game. Claim by 9/10/2023. Redeem by 16/10/2023. 1 per account."
However, since Overwatch has cross-progression you may be able to apply it to Playstation/PC if you have the accounts all connected (haven't tried this yet, someone will need to confirm).

      cricket sounds

    • I know the Steam users aren't, given that every single review mentions that it did not redeem.

Time to play the new patch for 3 days then fade out.

This game currently has overwhelmingly negative review on Steam on release on that platform.

In not sure promoting one of the worst monetised & money hungry game is a good thing.

It's in the perks section for game pass, on PC think you have to use the Xbox app to see it.

  • Appears to transfer from Xbox to PlayStation.
I have the 3 new supports (1 not comp eligible) and someone called Ramattra.
Nb, didn't try to play but they are not greyed out, so I assume they are playable.

    • DLC is cross platform so if you unlock on one you get it across all.

    • It has crossplatform progression across all platforms. Possibly the only positive the game has had in years.

      • It's even on Switch, though framerate is pretty bad. But hey doesn't cost anything to try it.

  • how to claim through pc

    This

  • ive claimed on the xbox app on pc and linked my xboxx acc but its not in my game

    • +1

you have to claim it on the xbox itself. it won't work if you just link the accounts, you have to actually get on an xbox and do it that way. once you launch the game it will unlock them. if you don't have an xbox you're out of luck

      • wanan give me a hand

        • i don't have one. i'm in the same boat haha

    Not good game ya?

    • I’ve put 1,500 hours into it, can confirm it’s trash.

  • it is

  • You need to unlock the actual characters in overwatch 2? It’s not like the original were everyone gets everything and you just collect non gameplay related cosmetics?

    • Overwatch 2.

You need to unlock the characters.

You need to pay for cosmetics.

The ones I got through normal play in Overwatch 1 would cost me in excess of $10,000.

I gave up on Overwatch 2 in season 1 - the only reason for the 'upgrade' was to enable monetarisation.
