For any folks in our Westpac Lounge, we've got a chance to get an extra 10% Cashback on a $20 gift card via the ShopBack app. We're kicking off our Afterpay Day offers tomorrow so this is a good chance to save some extra dollars on your shopping list.

Challenge Details:

Offer: $2 Bonus Cashback
Min Spend: $20 Spend on Gift Cards via the ShopBack app
Dates: 16th of August 12:00am to the 22nd of August 11:59pm or until fully redeemed.
Opt-In Cap: 1500

GYB's Notes:

  1. This Challenge can be stacked with any other Challenge on offer.
  2. Our Challenges can take up to 2 days to update on our system. It typically updates once our system re-syncs at 9am AEDT/AEST.
    If you don't see the Challenge update in your 'Earn More' tab within a day or two, please reach out to me via DM.
  3. The Bonus will be credited to your account once your order moves from 'Pending' to 'Approved'.
    This means that the Bonus will not be visible under your 'Lifetime Earnings' until the order moves to 'Approved'.
  4. Multiple items may be purchased in a single transaction to reach the minimum spend.
  5. Once opted-in to this challenge, you can shop from any device you wish.

  • Receive $2 bonus Cashback from ShopBack when you spend $20 or more in one or across multiple transactions via the gift card portal in the ShopBack app using an eligible Westpac card ($20 or more must be charged to your card to qualify) between 16th August 2023 12.00am AEST and 22nd August 2023 11.59pm AEST (unless the offer is modified, extended or terminated prior).
  • Eligible Westpac cards can be found here.
  • Gift card purchases made using Apple Pay may take up to 14 days to be tracked. For best experience, pay using an eligible Westpac card that is linked directly to your ShopBack account.
  • You will need to ensure you opt-in to the challenge and only purchases made after you ‘Start’ this challenge will qualify for the $2 bonus Cashback.
  • Limited redemptions are available for the offer.
  • ShopBack In-Store voucher purchases are excluded from this offer.
  • Bonus is limited to one per ShopBack account. Additional transactions do not qualify for additional bonuses.
  • The $2 bonus Cashback is in addition to the regular Cashback you’ll receive for buying a Gift Card via the ShopBack app.
  • This bonus will be added to your ShopBack account within 48 hours of making an eligible transaction.
  • Cashback will be forfeited if any fraudulent activity is detected (or there is reasonable suspicion of such activity) on, or arising out of, your ShopBack account, or if your order is cancelled.
  • ShopBack reserves the right to amend or withdraw the terms and conditions and terminate the offers at any time without prior notice.

      Typo, happens all the time (more than it should honestly) when they cut and paste.

      It's $20, the best indication is the '$20 to go' in the app itself. It also says $20 multiple times, $75 once, they missed it.

          I have my pay goes into westpac account and I payID to my offset as soon as it goes in

            @CodeXD: I already put my pay into HSBC for 2% paywave cashback, then I shuffle it to ING for their promo crap then to wespac then it ends up in my offset. Tiresome.

          It will work, but as the bonus is $2 as long as it is $20 or more, so there is diminishing return.

          $20 gift card with $2.40 cash back = ~13.6% discount

          $25 gift card with $2.50 cash back = ~11.1% discount

            $2.40 off $20 = 12% discount
            $2.50 of $25 = 10% discount

    Bought 2x $10 superswap at around 1 am, the 2% cashback tracked at 1:15, but the gift cards are still pending and unavailable, no Westpac bonus :(

    Noticed that Amazon and Super Swap are 1.75% now and eBay is 2%, I wonder if these drops are temporary or permanent?

      I purchased Super Swap at 2% last night (around 20 hours ago). Surprised that they reduced it. Hopefully it's temporary!
