To be eligible for the Velocity Double Points promotion, you must:

(1) activate this offer through the activation link between 12.01am AEST 16 August 2023 and 11.59pm 25 August 2023 inclusive (Promotion Period);

(2) travel on an Eligible Flight between 24 September 2023 and 10 December 2023 inclusive (the Travel Period); and

(3) enter and have a valid Velocity membership number on the booking before you fly.

An Eligible Flight is a flight operated by Qatar Airways and marketed by either Virgin Australia (VA) or Qatar Airways (QR), on all Qatar Airways operated flights globally, where Velocity Points can normally be earned.

Velocity Reward Seat bookings and Qatar Airways services marketed or operated by other partner airlines are ineligible.

    That shouldn’t be allowed. PM’s son gets Chairman’s Lounge access and we, the nobody, have to pay high tickets. Isn’t it called corruption?

  Qantas needs to be dumped from gaslighting the Australian government under the false premise of "saving" Australian jobs. They've sent maintenance offshore so really they're the biggest hypocrites going around.

  Sorry but how many points do we get for $1 spend? If I book the flights using points, will I get double point back? Or I have to pay full with cash?

  if i book directly on the qatar website and enter my velocity, do I get the double points? or do I need to book through virgin website?

    Need to activate the offer on virgin website first, then can book through Qatar website and enter velocity
