Sony Cashback - How Many of You Have Received Payment in The Specified Time?

I searched this forum and see they have a track record as being horrible at paying.

My cashbacks were confirmed in the 26th of June, I sent an email enquiry as to what the holdup was and got the below response.

Unfortunately, we are slightly delayed in processing your cashback and we kindly request you allow additional time for your cashback to be processed.

Once your cashback is ready for processing, our friendly team will send an email to advise of payment processing.

Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause and we thank you for your patience and understanding throughout this process.

For a tech company, they are terrible at using tech. Or is it on purpose?

    Mine is overdue as well. Had to follow up twice, with the first time almost angry response "28 BUSINESS days from approval". When 28 business days passed, no cashback and followed up twice before getting the above email as well.

    I've just sent them a "as per your terms and condition" type email, asking them to fulfill their part of the agreement.

    • That's exactly what I pointed to in my email. The fact that they have history of doing this makes me want to make complaint to the ACCC.

      Still no sign of any cashback, and you are 10 "business days" over the specified "up to" period. So 2 weeks in ordinary language.

      Please honour your terms and conditions. Is it too much to ask?
