Not sure about 300 RRP, but a quick google search indicates it's at about 149 RRP. Still a great deal!

    • Computer peripherals always has inflated RRP (just look at the RRP for Logitech and Razer).

Bought one of these during the last sale and I use it when Im in my work office. It's firm enough to feel good without being clicky-loud.
Also fits in my desk drawer nicely being TKL size for days when I;m not in the office :)

Shipped quickly for me from HP too.

    • What is battery life like?

      • Lasts me the 3 days im in the office, but charges using USB-C so easy enough to charge whilst using if needed. I haven't given it a week-long test though.

  • am i the only one that wants a full size gaming keyboard? all the deals I see are for TKL
working in finance I need the numpad but I dont want to keep switching between full size and gaming keyboards

      • woah. $100+ just for 12keys? you guys dont mess around
I can buy many many full size keyboards for that

    • You can buy separate numpad pretty cheap

The "gaming" in gaming keyboards is mostly marketing. You can still game on an "ordinary" mechanical keyboard, or a custom one like a GMMK / Keychron. It might look less flashy, there might not be a software to manage profiles, a built in HUD that displays your health and you won't have 8000hz polling rate but that sort of thing hardly makes a difference to the average non-competitive gamer.

      • haha. ok cool thank you. I will look into these

TBH i just need a keyboard that has back lights so I can play horror FPS with the room lights turned off and thought might as well get some more bells and whistles but these key colours and 100,000 keystrokes, switchable keys all goes over my head. I just need a small footprint full size keyboard so I can game in darkness with nice keys so I can also type my work emails and Excel spreadsheets - oh and I hate it when they put the Fn key on the bottom left next to Alt - messes with my rhythm

Sounds like you want a 1800 or 96 pc layout. Good mixture of formsize and productivity.

Keychron stuff is pretty great, I've got the v5 (not wireless)

          • @Ezuku: Wow. This is so cool. Thank you for pointing me in the right direction

  • Perfect for the absolutely pointless 2 days a week in the office my work is mandating…

    Hi y'all,

I am new with nowadays keyboards technology, and have been going to the office this year with a full-size 101-keyboard jammed into my bag.
It's a PITA, as they say.

So I am looking for a TKL that's reasonably flat (seen tall ones, yikes!), but must not be 'clicky-loud' for office-use (so what colour switch should that be?),
and also can be backlit (single colour, or can change to one colour at a time) for home evening use, or completely off for office-use. Thanks to 'happykamper' for suggesting a separate numpad (didn't think of that solution at all), and please recommend one.

Please give some TKL/NUMPAD recommendations, thanks in advance.

    • Budget? TKLs can range from $50-$500 (or more, depending on where you're looking)

So I am looking for a TKL that's reasonably flat

      Like a low-profile keyboard?

must not be 'clicky-loud' for office-use (so what colour switch should that be?)

Anything but blue switches, or any others labelled as 'clicky'. Tactile and linear switches can still be plenty loud depending how hard you type

    • apart from Keychron, Nuphy also makes low profile mechanical keyboards. They are significantly pricier though.

    • Not a mechanical switch, but I've been using a Logitech MX keys for a while now, for gaming and general use, and love it to bits. Bought it a while back when a housemate complained about my late night keyboard mashing noise.

It's slim, quiet, pleasant to use, might suit you well. Could look at an MX Keys Mini if you want TKL.

  • Is Afterpay code only valid for 1 product? I tried buying this keyboard but it said the code is already used.

    • The code only works once per eBay account, but you can add multiple items from multiple sellers into the cart and pay in one transaction.

  • Do note that this has dedicated Macro keys, meaning you can't remap any key to any macro of your choice. If you want something that can do that look at either the Razer, Corsair or Cooler Master mechanical keyboard lineup.
