For $89 it’s a steal, and retiring this December. Should do similar to the 42108 in my opinion, which is now going for mid $200s on eBay.

42108 has 50% more pieces.
Pneumatics are pretty scarce at the best of times, and only appear in new sets every other year.
They’re the one thing that I was happy to buy knockoffs of from AliE

42108 has 1292 pieces, 42144 has 835 pieces. That means 42108 has 55% more pieces (1292 is 154.47% of 835). I suspect you did it the other way (835 is 64.7% of 1292, and you then added the 35% to get it to 100%).
Bought this for my 7 year old who loves lego, he's never done a technic before, didn't know there was a 'market' for these and they go up on price!

I ordered last night, and a couple of hours ago received an email advising that it has been shipped. So for once Kmart didn't cancel my order, I'm suprised!
It says online only and out of stock at my local store in QLD but for some reason it allowed me to click and collect and have been notified it's ready for collection few hours later. Odd

Received today, got sent a box that has been resealed, and poorly.
If you get it cancelled you can try again. I had my first one cancelled. Jumped online saw it was still for sale. Ordered it again and now it’s been shipped. I don’t know why it happens, but no harm trying.
Mine has finally been collected from Mt Druitt Kmart (ordered Friday evening) by CouriersPlease. Due to be delivered tomorrow.
I got this one weeks ago (kmart online $99) it said online exclusive but they also had heaps in store for the same price.
Received today in a very large box, was sent from another Kmart, some clearly so Kmart has them in stock.
Usually online exclusive means direct from warehouse, sometimes direct from distributor, hence not available in store.
still haven't received mine. i think couriersplease lost it.
Looks like a cool set. Would be cooler if it was powered and app controlled.
