Ajax Anti-Bacterial Vanilla Berries 220 Wipes 2 Packs (440 Wipes) for $10 @ Coles

530

Most probably a mistake from Coles. The 110 pack sells for $11

The promotional 220 pack it's on sale for $15 for 1. Or 2 for $10.
So 2 for $10 it's 440 pack of wipes.

Ready, Set, Go!!

    • How do they compare to the Coles and aldi brands?

      • +1

        it's cheaper ^^

      • They probably all come out from the same factories.

        Its just the packaging.

      • I think the main difference is Ajax one is biodegradable but home brand one isn't.

Woolworths: 0.45% Benzalkonium Chloride (BAC) (w/w)
Ajax: 0.36% Didecyldimethylammonium Chloride (DDAC) (w/w)

BAC is an active substance that has never been approved in Europe.
DDAC was approved in Europe on 1 January 2010 but only for use on ornamental crops. Its authorisation expired on 20 June 2013.

Quats in general are broken down by the presence of organic matter, particularly proteins that adversely affect their activity. Benzalkonium chloride is a class of low-grade cationic surfactant used in some cheap forms of quat products.

DDAC has a particularly high tolerance to organic soiling, hard water and to anionic residuals (i.e. chemically complex, negatively charged ions that form hydrogen bonds with water and are forms of soaps), all of which can result in de-activation of BAC, which does not have these properties.

While quats like BAC (Benzalkonium Chloride) are particularly sensitive to organic matter the high quality twin chain quat of DDAC (Didecyldimethylammonium chloride) is far less susceptible.

It’s available in store. Not a price error, they were overpriced from the start comparatively to the offers. Now great value if you can snag them. They are on clearance.

You are not meant to eat them. Duh!!

      • You may as well ingest it considering how it reacts with your skin & lungs

        • Then stick to your essential oils.

Nobody is forcing you to buy them.

            Yet another follower !

I don't think you get how 'free speech' works. I'm simply pointing out the issues with the product. I'm not 'forcing you' not to use it - you can do whatever you want with it. I prefer not to wear PPE in order to clean my house but you do you.

  • That's a lot of wiping……. wax on…wax off!!

  • Went to 2 different stores in metro Se Melbourne.
None of the staff have ever seen this double pack.
While it's available at Woolworths next door for $15…

  • Mine got replaced with 110 wipes :((

    • Are you serious? I would be really pissed off if they did that to me. Return or have a chat to the manager.

      • yeah am going to c&c now and will surely do.

O how the mighty Ajax has fallen! Once described as a man of great stature and colossal frame, second to the Greek hero Achilles in strength and bravery, reduced to flogging tissues to dispense your mess.
