Handheld Stick Blender / Mixer Recommendations?

I mean while I'm on here, basically asking for recommendations for every appliance known to humans, I might as well ask if anyone has purchased a good handheld small mixer?

Basically a small mixer to mix protein shakes, or greens powder? Yes I use a shaker, and I have a blender but the handheld ones look pretty easy to put into a glass and get a much more even mix.

Kmart has a couple for like 15 to $20 that look a bit clunky.

Am I being super lazy now? Maybe I'll watch too much YouTube! Bahaha

    K-Mart is like $12, 1 speed.

This is alot more, but alot more powerful.

  • Basically they all do the same job with the same type of technology.

I had a medium price range one that lasted several years then last year the blades suddenly disappeared.

I sifted the food and still could not find the blades or bolts holding blades, looks like the family had an iron rich diet that day.

Now I use a cheap $30 Big W one and it is sufficient.

The variations are really only the number of speed settings, and some come with a blender attachment which is handy by closer to $100.

    • What they disapeared? How does that happen

  • Its nice when the blades detach for cleaning but the cheapest dont do that hard to find

  • Kmart $30 one is great, just make sure the blade end comes off for cleaning, otherwise its annoying

  • The hot tip is to use a milk frother to mix up protein shakes. IKEA sells one for $2.50

    • I was looking at these, and wondering if it'd be enough for a shake or even greens powder?

      • Yeah it works, have a look at the article in the first link. I think it was a thing on TikTok earlier in the year.

    • And i think one gets $10 credit for signing up or maybe signing up to their news letter

  • Probably overkill, but Bamix are really good. I bought my parents a new one when their 30 year old one finally died. The “new” one is probably about 8 years old now and is as good as new.
