    Step 2
Install Xbox live App via APK, as below
    https://firestickhacks.com/xbox-game-pass-on-firestick/

Fire TV doesn't have Google Play Services.

You can install/sideload the Xbox Game Pass app, but you won't be able to run it due to the missing dependencies.

I will state what I have tested and what I have not.

Could you please state that you didn't actually test any of it? (Had you tested it you would know it doesn't work)

    • Was going to post similar. I'm assuming Apitode doesn't help with this either?

And didn't bother to read the "important update" on the linked page.

Xbox app does work on fire tv stick (at least it did when I last tested it a few months ago). You will get an error about missing google play services but you can ignore that by clicking okay or whatever the button says and use the app as you normally would.

Normally? How do you navigate? I can move around, but can't select anything or login.

Ah, I think for login I had to connect a wireless mouse, the okay button on the remote didn't work on the login screen of the app. After login I was able to navigate and use the app with my controller.

Edit: Just tested with a controller, could login and play. Don't need a mouse either.

@ieatlemons: I factory reset my Fire TV, installed everything from scratch and paired my Xbox controller to it again.
I'm not sure what version of Xbox Game Pass I had before, but with the latest one from July the Xbox controller now works to "select" things and I am able to login.

            Problems:

            • When I go to launch a game it keeps crashing with error "Disconnected from cloud gaming session. Something went wrong", but if I keep trying it will eventually load.
            • If I go from Game Pass to the Fire TV home screen, the next time I go back into Game Pass to load a game it will sometimes show the stream in a tiny box in the top left corner of the screen and I have to go to app settings and force stop the app.
            • Search and filters are a broken mess. Requires the use of both the Fire TV remote and the Xbox controller.
            • Input lag. The games I tried (Forza Horizon 5, GoldenEye 007 and GTA V) are all unplayable. Appears to be the same issue as on the Chromecast with Google TV, but here the delay is even worse.

Anyway, I was wrong and I stand corrected. It is now possible to cloud stream from Xbox Game Pass on the Fire TV.
Is it something you'd want to do though? Probably not unless you really like to punish yourself.

    • it didn't seem necessary to state every line and every step that it works, but for the people that haven't tested, I have, every step, and it does work.

  • What is this post about?

    • maybe OP wants you to save money on buying a playstation 5? At least that's my interpretation.

      • I thought discount with Xbox cloud gaming with Fire TV.

        • I think you can buy turkish xbox cloud gaming haha

  • OP hasn't stated whether s/he tested "step 2"

So that's a no from me.

  • Do I see referral codes in those GPU links….

  • This can be done on a 2022+ Samsung TV. Is it going to replace a console? No chance. There are many reports of high latency and input lag on Reddit. This is not a “bargain” and should be moved to the forums.

  • you'll have bluetooth latency issues, it's noticable even using an 8bitdo with retroarch on the firestick. Have to be cabled.

  • Yeah I've done this with a Chromecast too - the latency is TERRIBLE

    • You on fibre nbn?

      • Yep - 250 down.
I think the latency was more between the controller and the app
