Shopping Square Rep and Customer Support ignoring my questions, what to do?

I purchased a microSD from Shopping Square. The first one was lost in transit so they arranged to get another one sent. It arrived to my local post office but Australia Post never gave me a card saying it had arrived so after a month at the local post office Australia Post came and picked it up.

It was returned to sender and I only just found out 2 weeks ago after contacting Australia Post, Been waiting since June so I can use it but its been so long now.

I have sent emails to the rep from Ozbargain and tried to get it resolved from the help center but nothing has happened. They should have informed me that the memory card wasn't received and was sent back to Hong Kong but yet they were quiet about it.

I don't think I can launch a dispute through paypal cause its been a couple of months already, What should I do? Any form of help would be greatful

So I spend $29.95 for a MicroSD card that was supposed to be sent from Sydney but ended up being from Hong Kong and then never receiving the item.

    Failing that, if they are simply ignoring you via email launch a complaint via the appropriate channels, ACCC I would have thought (and email SQ to tell them you have).

    Why not complain to Australia Post too? Aren't they supposed to leave a card? I've had this happen too, but luckily got the parcel before it was sent back. I suppose though that you have no proof that you haven'e received the card? Worth a try anyway as normal parcel post covers $50 worth of goods.

  • I purchased something from them where they advertised that the item was located in Sydney but it later turned out it was from Hong Kong, was under the presumption it'd arrived quicker since it was local (since I needed it as soon as possible). It would have cost a lot cheaper buying an identical item from a HK seller too. Not cool.

  • They just replied to my email after a week and a half of being MIA, Think they got scared that I was going to report them to ACCC and Fair Trades Queensland.

    The Ozbargain rep hasn't bothered to reply to my emails, he's active on here almost everyday too.

    Now I just have to wait for my money to go back into my Paypal account, wonder how long that's gonna take since they said "Some" working days.

    Seriously not gonna bother with these guys again, I'm willing to spend that extra $$$ on customer service and our local online stores.

  • Same thing happened to me and i am still waiting for my things. Now they are charging me $4 to resend. No contact number and they take so long to reply and just wasting my time.

      This has been resolved a couple of months ago…….would have been nice to talk to a rep instead of going through your customer service. Either way I'm not purchasing anything from SS again

      • I'll be doing the same.. after receiving non glitter AAA batteries last week.. then being told no sorry its random.. white or glitter.. What the heck! just a joke really.. while they do have good deals from time to time.. they won't be getting any business my way!
