was looking for some steak knifes as these are by far the best and seen this deal posted in January that was quite popular. https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/750825
now at the slightly inflated price of $8 instead of $7 i still think there well worth it as some of the best knifes around.

Yeah, I bought mine for $5.50 a couple of years ago. They make good bread knives, just a bit small

I have sliced my palm with these on more than one occasion cutting bread rolls, they are bloody sharp!

@The Judge: The number of times I have wrecked myself cutting onions with these. Just don't do it.

standard pricing every day of the week….

  • Whoever I give this knife to, they end up cutting their finger 😂 Watch out!

It's kinda a rite of passage using these. If you haven't cut yourself bad with these, have you even used them?

They are still my go-to knife though every time.

Just here for the war stories.

  • These alright for buttering bread or does it tear it?

    • Fine! Plenty of flat knife area. If you tear the bread while applying butter, you're doing it wrong!

$8 Isn't a deal. As I often tell my wife "I've had better".

Is the I sliced my finger cause they're so sharp ever going to be out of fashion?

    • +1

Not as long as people keep cutting themselves on them because… they ARE so sharp!

  • If I use my $5 off ebay plus voucher, these come in at $6.30 per knife
